There are about 1933 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Colombia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
In this international non-interventional study safety and clinical data concerning the treatment of patients suffering from Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) will be collected.
The purpose of this study is to determine if quetiapine fumarate extended-release (quetiapine XR or SEROQUEL® XR) 150 to 300 mg/day taken by itself is effective and safe in treating children or adolescents aged 10 to 17 with bipolar depression and if so, how it compares with placebo (a non-active tablet, like a sugar pill, that looks like quetiapine).
The purpose of this study is to determine whether rivaroxaban in addition to standard care reduces the risk of the composite of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, or stroke in patients with a recent acute coronary syndrome compared with placebo.
The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of this investigational drug for the treatment of menopausal symptoms while protecting the endometrium (uterine lining) and preventing postmenopausal osteoporosis. Subject participation will last approximately 14.5 months.
The trial will be performed to evaluate if BIBF 1120 in combination with standard pemetrexed therapy is more effective than placebo (inactive capsule) plus standard pemetrexed therapy in patients with stage IIIB, IV or recurrent NSCLC. Safety information about BIBF1120/pemetrexed will be obtained.
The purpose of this study is to assess the clinical and microbiological effectiveness of the moxifloxacin compared with the combination ciprofloxacin - metronidazole, when used as adjunctive therapy to scaling and root planning for the treatment of advanced chronic periodontitis.
This study is designed to evaluate the long-term safety and tolerability of the subcutaneous (SC) injection form of N-methylnaltrexone bromide (MOA-728) for the treatment of opioid-induced constipation in participants with nonmalignant pain. The study consists of a 2-week screening period, a 48-week open-label treatment period and a 2 week follow-up period. Participants will need to agree to self-administer SC injections, complete daily diaries, and check-in via a daily telephone call during the study.
There is no available data on the clinical benefit of dose escalation for patients with suboptimal response to imatinib, and patients may still improve their response with continuation of therapy at the standard dose as shown in the IRIS trial after 5 years of follow-up. However, there is no data yet regarding the potential benefit of using nilotinib in the group of patients with suboptimal response. In this study, the efficacy of nilotinib 400mg BID will be compared to imatinib 600mg QD.
Phase III study of RAD001 adjuvant therapy in poor risk patients with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) of RAD001 versus matching placebo after patients have achieved complete response with first-line rituximab-chemotherapy
Lurasidone HCl is a compound being developed for the treatment of schizophrenia. This clinical study is designed to test the hypothesis that lurasidone is effective, tolerable, and safe as compared with quetiapine XR long term among schizophrenic outpatients with chronic schizophrenia.
