NCT ID: NCT05930288 Not yet recruiting - Exercise Clinical Trials

The Effect of Preoperative Walking Exercises on the Prognosis of Supratentorial Brain Tumours Patients After Craniotomy

Start date: March 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about in patients with supratentorial brain tumours. The main questions it aims to answer is: Can short-term preoperative walking exercise protect cognitive function in the short term after craniotomy in patients with supratentorial brain tumor and reduce the incidence of surgery-related complications? Participants will be asked to receive general care and regular walking exercises prior to surgery. Researchers will compare patients who receive only general care before surgery to see if preoperative walking exercise has an effect on postoperative prognosis.

NCT ID: NCT05930249 Not yet recruiting - Stroke Clinical Trials

Effect of a fNIRS-based Personalized Multi-domain Intervention on Cognitive in Elderly Population With High Risk of Stroke

Start date: July 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This functional near-infrared spectroscopy-based personalized multidomain intervention study aims to prevent cognitive impairment and reduce dementia and cerebrovascular events in 45-74 years old persons with high risk of stroke in China. The primary outcome is 6-months change in global cognitive score measured by a modified National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and Canadian Stroke Network-Canadian Stroke Network protocol. The investigators hypothesize that the intervention based on functional near-infrared spectroscopy will prevent cognitive decline by the initial 6-months intervention. The long-term primary outcome is the development of dementia and cerebrovascular events during a total of 2 years' follow-up. The investigators hypothesize that the functional near-infrared spectroscopy-based personalized intervention may reduce the 2-year risk of dementia and cerebrovascular events, mainly through the improvement in vascular risk factors control, social activity, and cognitive training activities.

Start date: August 28, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To explore the efficacy and safety of fruquintinib combined with chemotherapy as third-line/third-line+ Treatment in advanced metastatic colorectal cancer

NCT ID: NCT05927961 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Primary Aldosteronism Due to Aldosterone Producing Adenoma

Spatial Proteomics Profiles of Aldosterone-producing Adenoma and Unilateral Hyperplasia

Start date: August 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Primary aldosteronism (PA) is a common cause of secondary hypertension, which is characterized by excessive aldosterone production by the adrenal gland. Excessive aldosterone can significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Patients with aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) or unilateral hyperplasia (UAH) can be cured by unilateral adrenalectomy. The adrenal cortex is the outer part of the adrenal gland and is subdivided into three layers- the zona glomerulosa, the zona fasciculata, and the zona reticularis. And the outermost layer is the zona glomerulosa, and it's full of cells that make the hormone aldosterone. Although it has been investigated that the main cause of APA or UAH is the mutations of different calcium ion channels, including KCNJ5, CACNA1D, CLCN2 et al, it is still unknown whether there are any other changes of other proteins in different layers. Therefore, the investigators designed the study to characterize the proteomics profiles of adrenal adenoma/hyperplasia leading to primary aldosterone and identify biomarkers for early identification of PA by using spatial proteomics. The samples from adrenal adenoma or hyperplasia will be collected and analyzed by spatial proteomics in Hangzhou Jingjie Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The differentially expressed proteins in different layers will be screened out between APA and UAH, APA and its adjacent normal tissues, and UAH and its adjacent normal tissues, respectively. And KEGG analysis will be conducted to determine enriched pathway in these differentially expressed protein, respectively.

NCT ID: NCT05926778 Not yet recruiting - Liver Fibrosis Clinical Trials

Multiomics Study of Fibrosis Factors After Liver Transplantation and Exploration of Fibrosis Methylation Biomarkers

Start date: July 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a retrospective observational study in liver transplantation recipients with or without allograft liver fibrosis. Based on the GM-seq and Tcr-Seq data, a novel diagnostic model including DNA-methylation and TCR-Seq biomarkers will be established.

NCT ID: NCT05926349 Not yet recruiting - Urgent Surgery Clinical Trials
