There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study was a prospective, single-arm, single-center, phase II exploratory clinical study. To investigate the efficacy and safety of radiotherapy combined with sintilimab and bevacizumab biosimilar in the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombus.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) has become one of the most common malignant tumors in the world, and the key to its prevention and control is early detection and treatment. As colorectal adenoma and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are the inevitable precursors of most CRC, screening for colorectal adenoma and IBD is of great importance for preventing CRC. The existing detection methods have high sensitivity for CRC, while limited in colorectal adenoma and IBD. Therefore, exploring a detection method with high sensitivity for colorectal adenoma and IBD is necessary. This project intends to use methylation detection technology, lactic acid modified omics, proteomics, metagenomics, and other omics technology, through the analysis of differences in feces and histological results in healthy volunteers, patients with non-advanced adenoma, patients with advanced adenomas, patients with IBD, and patients with CRC for early screening.
Resistance training is a common way of daily exercise which has a remarkable function in healthcare. It has been used in many diseases as a complementary method. Overweight and obesity are the sixth highest risk of death worldwide. In recent years, the data show that the rate of overweight obese among college students shows a significant increasing trend. The common characteristics of overweight and obese people are strong appetite which is difficult to be controled and sedentary. resistance training is a solid supplement to physical education and how to reduce appetite of overweight and obese college female students through resistance training is the key to increase their health by university sport course. The training plan divides the training intensity into three levels including 45-50% one repetition maximum(1RM), 60-65% 1RM, 45-50% 1RM, respectively plus control group. Therefore, this experimental research examines the effectiveness and the differences of three Intensities resistance training on energy intake and appetite regulation among overweight and obese college girl. Finally, to evaluate whether the resistance training can reduce the overweight and obese female college students' energy intake and appetite regulation
This study included cataract patients who underwent intraocular lens (IOL) implantation with or without capsular tension ring (CTR), which aimed to evaluate the contribution of the use of CTR in clinical visual outcomes and rotational stability of IOL after cataract surgery.
Chronic periodontitis is an infectious disease of periodontal support tissues caused by bacterial biofilm, which leads to inflammation and destruction of periodontal support tissues ultimately resulting in tooth loss.In the clinic, patients with Stage III and Grade B periodontitis are difficult to gain desired outcomes on account of deep periodontal pockets, complicated anatomy, the removal of subgingival dental biofilms, and control of residual inflammation. A large number of studies have indicated that the effectiveness of local application of antibiotics as an adjunct to scaling and root planning (SRP), such as the antimicrobial and minocycline hydrochloride could affect bacterial metabolism and inhibit bioļ¬lm attachment particularly in terms of pocket depth reduction and attachment level gain. However, the use of wide-spectrum antibiotics may cause some inevitable side effects including drug resistance, pathogens and probiotics were eliminated leading to diversity of microbiota diminished, and toothstaining. To solve the problems of antibiotics in the clinic, antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) may be considered as an alternative to conventional antibiotics drugs. In this randomized clinical trial, we aimed to evaluate the effects of AMPs as an addition to SRP on clinical parameters and microbiological biofilms in patients with Stage III and Grade B periodontitis.
This is a single-center, single-arm, open-label trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine for plasma cell mastitis.
Hypocalcaemia is an independent risk factor of TIC in elderly trauma patients. TIC combined with hypocalcemia had worse coagulation function and more serious acidosis.
The main purpose of this study is to observe the side effects of VPRIV in participants with type 1 Gaucher disease who are either treatment-naïve (newly diagnosed) or who are currently being treated with enzyme replacement therapy (ERT). Participants will receive VPRIV intravenously during the treatment period (up to 51 weeks), followed by the end-of-treatment (EOT) visit after 2 weeks.
This study was designed to compare propofol intravenous anesthesia to sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia on the quality of recovery after surgery for anal fistula in obese patients. Propofol-based total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) and sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia are the two main anesthesia techniques. Obesity influences not only anesthetics metabolic but also physical function of patients, so it is meaningful to study which anesthesia technique is better for the recovery of obese patients after surgery.
The IDEA study classified stage III colon cancer into low-risk (T1-3/N1) and high-risk patients (T4 or N2) according to TNM stage. The results showed that for some low-risk patients, chemotherapy could be reduced without survival loss. In recent years, circulating tumor DNA had achieved encouraging results in monitoring recurrence and metastasis after surgery, and has potential clinical application value. Postoperative ctDNA is also considered as a marker of increased risk of recurrence for stage I-III colon cancer and can provide predictive information for decision making on adjuvant treatment. The results of GERCOR-PRODIGE, concomitant study of IDEA-FRANCE, showed that in the high-risk group, the patients with ctDNA positive and receiving adjuvant chemotherapy for 6 months had similar prognosis as the patients with ctDNA negative and receiving chemotherapy for 3 months; in the low-risk group, the patients with ctDNA positive but receiving chemotherapy for 3 months had worst prognosis, and the prognosis of patients with ctDNA negative chemotherapy for 3 months and 6 months and ctDNA positive chemotherapy for 6 months were similar. This indicates that risk stratification can be further performed according to the results of ctDNA after clinical pathological staging. Pathological staging is still an important decision-making factor for chemotherapy. It is not reliable to the chemotherapy decision making just based on ctDNA and abandoning clinical staging. Therefore, a prospective, multicenter, open-label, randomized controlled clinical trial was designed aimed to investigate circulating tumor DNA guided adjuvant chemotherapy for colon cancer. In this study, all the patients are divided into high-risk group and low-risk group according to the postoperative pathology. Patients in each group were randomized to different treatment schedule according to the results of ctDNA.
