Multiple longitudinal follow-up assessment of frailty could provide a better understanding of the frailty change of individuals. Our aims were to identify the longitudinal trajectories of frailty and estimate their association with health outcomes in elderly gastric cancer survivors.

The incidence of postoperative folliculitis and the patient demographics were assessed. Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the risk factors, and the characteristics of different types of folliculitis were compared.

Stroke Patients and Family Longitudinal Study in Rural China

SaFaRI is a large prospective cohort study in Hebei Province, rural Northern China including 1,299 stroke patients and their spouses. Follow-up visits take place from baseline until the fifth year after the baseline survey, investigating the lifestyle and health behavior, disease history, medication and adherence to medication, health status and self-reported health, cognitive function, and medication cost. As additional measures, the investigators will collect information on hospitalization, recurrence, and vital status from county medical insurance system and death record system. Patients will also have a physical examination comprising of assessment of blood pressure, weight, height, waist circumference, neck circumference, grip strength and the "Timed Up and Go" test.

A Standardized Intervention to Improve the Management of Chemotherapy-induced Nausea and Vomiting

The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate the effect of a nurse-led standardized intervention on chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The main questions it aims to answer are: (1) what's the best practice to enhance the management of CINV; (2) how's the effect of the nurse-led standardized intervention on CINV in the patients treated with cisplatin-based chemotherapy. Participants in the intervention group will receive evidence-based, nurse-led standardized management of CINV, including nurse-led risk assessment, education on prevention and control of CINV, antiemetics following guidelines, dietary strategies, relaxation therapy, and follow up. Participants in the control group will receive routine care of CINV. The incidence and occurrence degree of CINV and its influence on patients' quality of life will be compared between the two groups.
