There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objective of this trial is to scientifically evaluate the efficacy of PEEK cranioplasty and titanium cranioplasty. The primary objective is to compare the rate of implant failure (defined as infection, implant exposure and other causes requiring removal of the implanted material) at any time within 12 months after cranioplasty. The secondary objective is to compare the complication rates and neurological function recover following cranioplasty. Complication events after cranioplasty are investigated within 6 months after surgery and neurological function is evaluated at 3, 6 and 12 months after cranioplasty.
In this study,288 adult migraine patients aged 18-65 years (diagnosed with migraine without aura and/or migraine with aura, with at least a 1-year history)will be collected to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Anisodine Hydrobromide in preventing migraine attacks in episodic migraine in adults.
TQB3915 is a selective estrogen receptor covalent antagonist, by covalently binding to estrogen receptor, by changing the conformation of ERα, blocking intracellular signal transmission, thereby inhibiting the growth of tumor cells.
The prevalence of diabetes mellitus has increased significantly in Hong Kong for the past decade [1]. Diabetic macular edema is one of the most common causes of vision loss in patients suffering from diabetes mellitus [3]. Before the introduction of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor agents, laser photocoagulation has been the mainstay treatment for patients with diabetic macular edema. There are two types of laser treatment modalities, namely focal laser, which can be applied either in a grid pattern over a region of macular edema or to selected microaneurysms, and subthreshold micropulse laser. Only one meta-analysis published in 2016 [16] had previously demonstrated superiority of micropulse laser over focal laser, while other studies showed no clinically significant differences between the two lasers. Nevertheless, micropulse laser had been proven to cause no structural changes to the retina and choroid, as opposed to focal laser. Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) is a new, non-invasive imaging technique that allows a clear, depth-resolved visualization of the retinal and choroidal microvasculature in the macular region [22]. A recent case series study [17] has demonstrated early changes of retinal vasculature on OCT-A images after micropulse laser for diabetic macular edema. Another cross-sectional study [18] showed choriocapillaries alterations in some of the patients after receiving focal laser. We would like to compare the changes of different OCT-A parameters for patients receiving either type of laser, and hence evaluating their efficacy. We propose to take OCT-A images for patients before laser, 1-, 3- and 6-months post-laser based on the results of a recent case series [17]. We will analyse the OCT-A images with MATLAB software and compare the changes in different parameters between both lasers.
Previous studies have confirmed that limb pain caused by oxaliplatin chemotherapy is related to spinal cord central sensitization - induced hyperalgesia through oxaliplatin activating spinal cord NMDA receptor(N-methyl-D-aspartic acid receptor). The investigators speculate that this may be the same as the mechanism of severe abdominal pain caused by HAIC(Hepatic Artery Infusion Chemotherapy) during oxaliplatin infusion. The analgesic effect of Esketamine is mainly related to its inhibition of NMDA receptor in spinal cord. Therefore, this study hypothesized that Esketamine can inhibit the sensitization of spinal cord center by inhibiting NMDA receptor, so as to alleviate severe abdominal pain during HAIC perfusion, and reduce abdominal pain caused by ischemia and inflammation by TACE(transcatheter arterial chemoembolization) by improving organ perfusion and anti-inflammatory effect, Therefore, it is expected that Esketamine can better alleviate acute severe abdominal pain caused by TACE-HAIC (transcatheter arterial chemoembolization combined with Hepatic Artery Infusion Chemotherapy )treatment than sufentanil, decrease the dosage of opioids, and reduce the incidence and degree of chronic abdominal pain after treatment.
This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled trail using drug-coated balloon to treat below the knee arterial stenosis or occlusion.
Lung cancer is the first cancer in China in terms of morbidity and mortality. The problem of early diagnosis/treatment has always been concerned. The popularization of chest CT (electronic computed tomography) screening makes it possible to detect lung cancer early. However, the diagnosis still needs pathological evidence. It is an ideal choice to obtain pathological evidence through bronchoscope and other minimally invasive means before surgical resection. However, the positive rate of tracheoscopy is still unsatisfactory, which is related to the difficulty of traditional pathological detection in detecting small specimens obtained by tracheoscopy. Liquid biopsy technology based on methylation detection has been used in early cancer screening, but its advantages have not been fully exploited due to the low content of ctDNA (circulating tumor DNA) in the current detection samples. Therefore, through prospective clinical research, the investigators plan to combine the methylation detection technology based on "Whole genome methylation sequencing(GM-seq)" with tracheoscopy, compare the traditional pathological methods with methylation detection on the bronchoscopic samples of lung nodule subjects suspected of early lung cancer, and take the postoperative pathology as the gold standard for judging benign and malignant, to confirm the feasibility and advantages of the new technology.
This is a multi-center, randomized double-blind controlled trial to compare the effectiveness of IOBT with IO-Rec for the treatment of hypertropia with IOOA. Specific Aim 1 (Primary): To study the suboptimal surgical rates between IOBT and IO-Rec for the treatment of hypertropia with IOOA. Specific Aim 2 (Secondary): To compare the surgical successful rate of IOBT with IO-Rec for the treatment of hypertropia with IOOA.
This trial is an open-label, single-arm clinical study. The main purpose is to verify the safety and efficacy of CAR-T cell preparations in the treatment of CEA-positive advanced malignant tumors, and to obtain the recommended dose and infusion scheme of CAR-T cell preparations for the treatment of patients with CEA-positive advanced malignant tumors.
Determination of autoantibodies against fragments derived from neurons, glia, and myelin sheath is instrumental in aiding diagnosis, differential diagnosis, as well as determining disease status of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), autoimmune encephalitis (AE). Cell based assay (CBA) has been frequently recommended to detect autoantibodies of neuroantigens in the aforementioned neurological disorders. However, antibodies with low abundance or low affinity often fall beyond the threshold of CBA and pose significant challenges in practice. To this end, the investigators adopted a tyramide signal amplification (TSA) technology with the basis of CBA to improve sensitivity. The preliminary results suggest that this TSA-CBA platform is superior to conventional CBA in registered signals of the titer autoantibodies. In elevating the sensitivity, TSA-CBA also preserves antigen confirmation. This prospective study is launched to compare the sensitivity, specificity, clinical correlation between CBA and CBA-TSA, in determining autoantibodies against aquaporin 4 (AQP4-IgG), myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG-IgG), N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR-IgG) in a multicenter, double-blind setting.
