NCT ID: NCT05828914 Not yet recruiting - Mortality Rate Clinical Trials

Machine Learning Platforms to Predict 30-day Mortality After Emergency Laparotomy

Start date: April 28, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study seeks to utilise retrospective patient data to train machine learning algorithms to predict the short term mortality and morbidity after an emergency laparotomy. Data will be collected via the Electronic Health records system at the Queen Mary Hospital Hong Kong. Machine learning models will be compared and the best-performing one will be explored for further optimization and deployment. Upon completion, we hope that this platform will aid clinicians to identify high risk patients and aid clinical decisions and peri-operative planning, with the aim to reduce mortality and morbidity in this high risk procedure.

NCT ID: NCT05828875 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Assessing the Current Quality of Life Status of Esophageal Cancer Patients Who Have Undergone Radical Chemoradiotherapy/Radiotherapy and Long-term Survival

A Multicenter, Cross-sectional Study on the Quality of Life in Long-term Survival Esophageal Cancer Patients After Radical Radiochemotherapy/Radiotherapy

Start date: August 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a multicenter cross-sectional survey of esophageal cancer patients who underwent radical chemoradiotherapy/radiotherapy from July 2017 to July 2020 in various medical centers, and who survived without disease progression at the time of the survey. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the current quality of life, as well as the incidence of long-term toxic side effects, nutritional status, and psychological status of esophageal cancer patients cured by radiotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05828589 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Refractory Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

A Study of BGB-21447, a Bcl-2 Inhibitor, in Mature B-Cell Malignancies

Start date: June 20, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study is testing the safety and tolerability of BGB-21447 monotherapy in participants with relapsed or refractory (R/R) non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL). The study aims to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), maximum adminstered dose (MAD), recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D), and pharmacokinetic profile of the drug. Additionally, preliminary antitumor activity will be characterized. The study is divided into 2 main parts: Part 1 "Monotherapy Dose Finding" and Part 2 "Monotherapy Dose Expansion."

NCT ID: NCT05828485 Completed - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria

Effect of Food on Pharmacokinetics of MY008211A Tablets in Healthy Adult Subjects

Start date: September 26, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This was a single-center, single-dose, open-label clinical study. 12 subjects were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to one of the following dosing sequences (sequence 1: AB; Sequence 2: BA). Each dosing sequence consisted of two cycles, one dose per cycle, with a 5-day washout period between doses.
