NCT ID: NCT05585047 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder

Treatment Response Biomarkers in MDD

Start date: June 10, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This experiment intends to explore the differences among various types of depression, as well as the differences between healthy subjects and depressed patients, and find possible biological markers from the severity of symptoms, social function and cognitive function of depressed patients, combined with EEG characteristics, biological test indicators (blood, faeces, hair, etc.) and functional magnetic resonance imaging data. To explore the changes in clinical symptoms, cognitive and social functions, and biological indicators of various types of patients before and after treatment, to provide references for the prognosis of various types, and to predict the future development of the disease according to the baseline indicators of patients; According to the above aspects, this experiment can follow up the patients with depression, track their disease development, and study the potential biological changes in the early stage of the disease, which has the potential to reveal the pathogenesis and provide guidance for the early diagnosis and intervention of depression.

NCT ID: NCT05584852 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Prognostic Value of Myosteatosis and Creatinine-to-cystatin C Ratio in Patients With Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Start date: November 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a dismal disease with a 5-year survival rate as low as 6%. It causes body composition changes and many patients develop muscle loss with disease progression. Computed tomography (CT) is a common, noninvasive method of muscle assessment.Known as myoesteatosis, low muscle radiodensity is reflective of intermuscular adipose tissue that influences survival outcomes in patients with cancer.Serum creatinine (Scr) and cystatin C (CysC) are usually employed to estimate renal function in clinical practice. Scr is a metabolic waste product produced by creatine in skeletal muscle. CysC can be produced by all nucleated cells in the body at a constant production rate. CysC is used as an endogenous marker to reflect the glomerular filtration rate. Some studies have supported that the Scr/CysC ratio (CCR) is a simple and inexpensive measure that can be used to evaluate the skeletal muscle mass of patients with malignancies, such as gastric cancer. Therefore, the purpose of the present study is to explore the association between CCR and myosteatosis upon diagnosis of PDAC, specially whether the co-occurrence of these factors could predict survival outcomes.Preoperative assessment of muscle quality may be valuable for treatment planning and optimization of nutritional support. This retrospective study enrolls patients who underwent surgery for PDAC, from January 2016 to December 2021. Patients will be divided into myosteatosis and non-myosteatosis groups. Clinical and imaging data are collected. The study does not have any intervention measures and harm to subjects.

NCT ID: NCT05584800 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Solid Tumor

NCT ID: NCT05584761 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Unrelated Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cell Combined With Azacitidine Based Treatment for Advanced MDS,CMML-2 and sAML

Start date: March 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research is being done to study the efficacy and safety of unrelated umbilical cord blood stem cell microtransplantation combined with azacitidine(AZA) based treatment for advanced myelodysplastic syndromes(MDS), Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia-2(CMML-2) and secondary acute myeloid leukemia(sAML). The study protocol involved unrelated umbilical cord blood stem cell combined with azacitidine based treatment, which including azacitidine alone and azacitidine plus a targeted agent or chemotherapy agent.

NCT ID: NCT05584423 Recruiting - Colonoscopy Clinical Trials

The Correlation Between the Difficulty of Colonoscopy and the Patient's Personality

Start date: August 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to explore the correlation between the difficulty of colonoscopy and the patients' personality in the population receiving initial colonoscopy in Peking Union Medical College Hospital. The main question it aims to answer is: Whether the difficulty of colonoscopy is related to any personality score of big five personality dimensions Participants will: 1. Receive routine colonoscopy 2. Fill out the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scales 3. Fill out the Big Five Personality Questionnaire.

NCT ID: NCT05584267 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Immune Treatment of Brain Metastasis of Lung Cancer Combined With Large-segmentation Precision Radiotherapy

Start date: December 25, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective multicenter clinical study. This study aims to construct an auxiliary decision-making system for lung cancer immunotherapy combined with radiotherapy by fusing three modes of imagomics, clinicopathological features, and molecular pathological features.

NCT ID: NCT05584020 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries

Arthroscopic Anterior Cruciate Ligament Repair Versus Reconstruction for Acute Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury

Start date: October 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Background: Arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) reconstruction is so far the gold standard for the treatment of ACL ruptures, but this technique still suffers from problems of tendon-bone healing, bone tunnel enlargement, bone resorption, a low rate of return to motion, etc. In recent years, due to the innovation of medical materials and surgical techniques, anterior cruciate ligament repair technology has returned to the field of vision of clinical doctors. This technique has the advantages of preserving the natural ligaments and their proprioceptive sensation, avoiding the bone injury of the tunnel and the complications of the donor site. However, there is still a lack of high-quality clinical randomized controlled trails to provide evidence of the effect of arthroscopic ACL repair. Hypothesis: Arthroscopic ACL repair is comparable to ACL reconstruction in patients with ACL tears (Sherman grades I and II). Study Design: This study was a prospective, multicenter, randomized, double-blinded, parallel-controlled, non-inferiority trial design. A total of 330 patients with ACL tears were randomly divided into 2 groups, and were randomly assigned to the experimental group (arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament repair) and the control group (arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction) according to 1:1. Follow-up knee function and other scores were performed at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years after surgery, and the total study time is expected to be 3 years.
