Study of Copanlisib in Combination With Standard Immunochemotherapy in Relapsed Indolent Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (iNHL)

The purpose of this study is to assess whether copanlisib in combination with standard immunochemotherapy (rituximab in combination with bendamustine [R-B] and rituximab in combination with a 4 drug combination of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone/prednisolone [R-CHOP]) is effective and safe, compared with placebo in combination with standard immunochemotherapy (R-B or R-CHOP) in patients with relapsed iNHL who have received at least one, but at most three, lines of treatment, including rituximab-based immunochemotherapy and alkylating agents.

Lateral Lymph Node Dissection After Neoadjuvant Chemo-radiation in Advanced Low Rectal Cancer

Lateral lymph nodes (LLD) metastasis is a major cause of local recurrence for advanced rectal cancer. As for the treatment strategies on LLN metastasis, there are huge controversies on whether lateral pelvic lymph nodes dissection (LLND) after neoadjuvant chemo-radiotherapy (nCRT) between Western and Eastern countries. Retrospective cohort evidences indicate that LLND following total mesorectal excision (TME) will bring benefit from cT3-4 rectal cancer, not regular predictive LLND, which will bring more side effects on the contrary. Existing reports tend to recommend LLND for specific individual with suspicious LLN metastasis. Moreover, there is a blank strict prospective randomized control study on the comparison of LLND+TME and LLND after nCRT. Therefore, our trial will compare the efficacy and safety of the two strategies for mid/low rectal cancer with suspicious LLN metastasis. The risk factors (such as radiologic factors, pathologic factors, and serum protein) to predict local recurrence and overall survival will be further investigated.

Malignant middle cerebral artery infarction(MMCI) has a high rate of disability and mortality. At present, there is no effective treatment except for craniotomy decompression, but the controversy of the craniotomy decompression still exists. The project is a prospective, randomized, single center, open label, clinical controlled trail. The eligible patients for enrollment are as follows: (1) malignant cerebral artery infarction within 48h onset; (2) craniotomy decompression can not be performed due to the contraindications, or refused by the patient or relatives. The patients are randomly assigned into 2 groups: (1)Medical therapy group: receiving osmotic therapy with mannitol and glycerol fructose,anti-platelet treatment, statins, and other symptomatic treatments such as controlling blood pressure, blood sugar, and infection, tracheal intubation or incision, etc; (2) Stereotactic infarct tissue aspiration (SITA) group: on the basis of medical treatment, receiving minimally invasive aspiration of infarct tissue 24-48 hours after stroke attacked. This study is aimed at comparing the efficacy and safety of of SITA in patients with MMCI.
