Bupivacaine Liposome Serrate Anterior Plane Block vs Traditional Thoracic Paravertebral Block

In this study, patients will receive bupivacaine liposome serratus anterior plane block or ropivacaine paraspinal block to manage postoperative pain. Follow-up visits will be conducted to investigate the patient's postoperative pain and recovery quality. The investigators hypothesize that the simple and safe serratus anterior plane block with a novel long-acting local anesthetic (bupivacaine liposome) has analgesic efficacy and recovery quality that is not inferior to the currently commonly used bupivacaine paraspinal block.

The main questions it aims to answer are: Safety and tolerability profiles in healthy subjects and pharmacokinetic profiles in healthy subjects. Participants will complete the study including screening period, dosing period, and observation period. Investigators will compare the inhibitory activity of SC1011 tablets with pirfenidone capsules against the same biomarkers(e.g. blood TNFα) to see if they are different between the two drugs.

The goal of this clinical study was to learn more about BAY1747846 compared to placebo when given as an injection into the vein in Chinese healthy male participants: - the safety of BAY1747846 when given at increasing single doses - the level of BAY1747846 in the blood over time when given at increasing single doses. To answer the first question, the researchers compared the number and severity of medical problems the Chinese participants had after receiving BAY1747846 at increasing doses and placebo respectively. Doctors kept tracking of all medical problems that happened in the study, even if they did not think they might be related to the study treatments. To answer the second question, the researchers determined: - the (average) total level of BAY1747846 in the blood, also called AUC - the (average) highest level of BAY1747846 in the blood, also called Cmax - how BAY1747846 is removed from the blood, also called clearance (CL).

Bioindicators Associated With Sarcopenia Before and After Intensive Lifestyle Intervention

The goal of this clinical trial is to explore whether the bioindicators of body composition, nutrition-related indicators (lymphocytes, albumin), lipids, and thyroid hormones are associated with sarcopenia and the changes in these indicators after an intensive lifestyle intervention. The main questions it aims to answer are: - whether the bioindicators such as lymphocytes, albumin, lipids, thyroid hormones, fat mass, fat-free mass, and basal metabolic mass are associated with the development of sarcopenia. - the changes of these bioindicators that occur in older adults after going through an intensive intervention. Participants will receive a 3-month intensive intervention consisting of an intensive nutritional intervention and an individually designed exercise intervention. Nutritional and exercise prescriptions are co-designed through a nutritionist and rehabilitation physician. Researchers will compare bioindicators in the sarcopenia group before and after intensive lifestyle intervention to determine the association with sarcopenia.
