NCT ID: NCT05626153 Not yet recruiting - Anesthesia Clinical Trials

Anesthesia Quality Improvement and Patients With Planned ICU Admission

Start date: December 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Intensive care unit (ICU) is an important part of perioperative management for high-risk patients but is associated with higher medical costs. Improper ICU admission may produce overtreatment without beneficial effects. In clinical practice, delayed recovery after general anesthesia is a common indication for ICU admission after surgery. The concept of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery recommends early extubation. The investigators suppose that, for patients with planned ICU admission after elective surgery, implementing anesthesia quality improvement including extubation in the operating room will reduce the rate of ICU admission after surgery without increasing complications.

NCT ID: NCT05625737 Not yet recruiting - Stomach Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Fruquintinib Combined With Sintilimab as Second-line Therapy for Gastric or Gastro-esophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma

Start date: November 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This was a single-arm, prospective study to investigate the efficacy and safety of fruquintinib combined with sintilimab in the second-line treatment of Chinese patients with advanced gastric/GEJ adenocarcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05624424 Not yet recruiting - Anesthesia, General Clinical Trials

Effect of Rematazolam Besylate, Propofol, and Sevoflurane Perioperative Sedation on Incidence of Emergence Agitation and Hemodynamics in Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Abdominal Surgery

Start date: November 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Emergence agitation (EA) is a transient, self-limited, non-fluctuating state of psychomotor excitement, which closely revolves around the emergence of general anesthesia. Uncontrolled EA during the recovery period increases the potential risk of injury to patients and medical staff, resulting in varying degrees of adverse consequences, such as elevated blood pressure, incision rupture, bleeding, cardio-cerebrovascular accidents and so on, leading to a great waste of resources. Accumulating scientific evidence indicates that the incidence of EA is related to the use of perioperative sedative drugs. As a novel ultra-short-acting benzodiazepines drugs, Remimazolam has been accepted for induction and maintenance of clinical anesthesia. Compared to traditional benzodiazepines drugs, Remimazolam combines the safety of midazolam with the effectiveness of propofol, and also has the advantages of acting quickly, short half-life, no injection pain, slight respiratory depression, independent of liver and kidney metabolism, long-term infusion without accumulation, and has a specific antagonist: flumazenil. This study aims to investigate whether perioperative sedation of Remimazolam besylate, propofol, and sevoflurane have different effects on the incidence of emergence agitation and hemodynamics in patients undergoing laparoscopic abdominal surgery.

NCT ID: NCT05623891 Not yet recruiting - Solid Tumor, Adult Clinical Trials

Safety Study of 177Lu-Anti-ED-B mAbs SPECT Imaging in Patients With ED-B Positive Solid Tumors

Start date: December 2022
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a single arm study to evaluate the safety and biodistribution of 177Lu-labeled anti-ED-B mAbs SPECT imaging in patients with ED-B positive solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05622877 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Carotid Artery Plaque

The Proteomic Study and Early Intervention Study of Carotid Unstable Plaque

Start date: May 31, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

A study on the prediction model of carotid unstable plaque protein and its early intervention. Protein antibody chip was used to detect the remaining biological samples, and patients with carotid artery unstable plaque with stroke risk were selected for interventional clinical trials. The selected patients were randomly divided into 3 groups, which were treated with Zhu's Wenban Formula (TCM compound granules), Qushi Formula (TCM compound granules) and placebo for 6 months, respectively. The size and number of carotid artery unstable plaques before and after 6 months were observed, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the intervention period was observed.

NCT ID: NCT05622474 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

A Multicenter Randomized Controlled Clinical Study on the Treatment of T3N1M0 High Risk Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma With or Without Induction Chemotherapy Before Concurrent Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy

Start date: November 30, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the efficacy and safety of curative radiotherapy with or without induction chemotherapy in patients with T3N1M0 nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - Whether induction chemotherapy confers a survival benefit in patients with T3N1M0 nasopharyngeal carcinoma with high risks factors. - Whether induction chemotherapy worsens adverse effects in patients with T3N1M0 nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Participants in experimental group will receive 3 cycles induction chemotherapy (GP or TPF) followed by concurrent chemoradiotherapy.Participants in control group will receive concurrent chemoradiotherapy only. Researchers will compare FFS, OS and AE or SAE to see if patients can benefit from induction chemotherapy or screen out high-risk factors associated with survival benefits.
