This project adopts a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled clinical study to investigate the treatment of TCM in postoperative patients with driver gene negative lung cancer, according to two phases of postoperative adjuvant therapy: (i) chemotherapy phase immunotherapy phase. In this study, 367 patients (183 in the control group and 184 in the trial group) will be observed over 4 years, and the quality of life, toxic effects and safety of this therapy will be investigated. This study will provide evidence-based evidence for the establishment and optimization of a new model of postoperative staged TCM with adjuvant chemo-immunotherapy for lung cancer.

Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy in Rectal Cancer

Rectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors, with 9% to 23% of patients experiencing pelvic sidewall lymph node metastasis. According to the current Chinese guidelines for diagnosing and treating colorectal cancer, pelvic sidewall lymph node dissection is recommended for patients who have experienced or are suspected of having lateral lymph node metastasis. Lateral lymph node dissection can result in longer operation times, increased bleeding, and complications such as urinary and sexual dysfunction after surgery. Currently, the presence of metastasis is primarily determined by the size and enhancement characteristics of lateral lymph nodes observed through imaging studies. However, the pathological lymph node metastasis rate of specimens collected after lateral lymph node dissection based on current imaging criteria is only 20.5%. Therefore, a pressing clinical challenge is accurately determining the presence of lateral lymph node metastasis and avoiding unnecessary lateral lymph node dissection in patients who have not experienced lateral lymph node metastasis. Sentinel lymph node biopsy has been widely used in clinical practice. It has replaced traditional lymph node dissection in some breast cancer and melanoma patients, reducing surgical risks and complications and improving patients' quality of life. This study aims to use indocyanine green as a tracer for fluorescence-guided laparoscopic navigation to locate the lateral sentinel lymph nodes of rectal cancer in the pelvic cavity. By studying the accuracy, specificity, and false-negative rate of predicting lateral lymph node status using the sentinel lymph node, we can further clarify the clinical significance of the lateral sentinel lymph node.

AI-assisted Colonoscopy Report System In Improving Reporting Quality

In this study, the investigators proposed a prospective study about the effectiveness of speech and image recognition-based system in improving reporting quality during colonoscopy for colonoscopy report quality in endoscopists. The participants would be divided into two groups. For the collected colonoscopy videos, group A would record their observations with the assistance of the artificial intelligence system. The artificial intelligence assistant system can automatically capture bowel segment images and prompt abnormal lesions. Group B would complete the endoscopy report without special prompts. After a period of washout period, the two groups switched, that is, group A without AI assistance and group B with AI assistance to complete the colonoscopy report. Then, the completeness of the colonoscopy report, the completeness of capturing anatomical landmarks and detected lesions, the completeness of structured description, the accuracy of lesion reporting, the time for reporting and the satisfaction with the reporting system are compared with or without AI assistance.
