NCT ID: NCT04819074 Recruiting - Aneurysm, Brain Clinical Trials

Prediction of Outcomes After Surgery for Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms

PRAEMIUM
Start date: May 20, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Accurate preoperative identification of patients at high risk for adverse outcomes would be clinically advantageous, as it would allow enhanced resource preparation, better surgical decision-making, enhanced patient education and informed consent, and potentially even modification of certain modifiable risk factors. The aim of the Prediction of adverse events after microsurgery for intracranial unruptured aneurysms (PRAEMIUM) study is therefore to develop and externally validate a clinically applicable, robust ML-based prediction tool based on multicenter data from a range of international centers.

NCT ID: NCT04818476 Recruiting - Barrett Esophagus Clinical Trials

Outcomes of Endoscopically Resected High-risk Mucosal and Low- and High-risk Submucosal Adenocarcinoma Arising in Barrett's Esophagus

Start date: February 10, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to assess lymph node metastasis rate, distant metastasis rate, disease-specific mortality, and overall mortality in patients with Barrett's related T1b and high risk T1a esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) who underwent a diagnostic endoscopic resection.

NCT ID: NCT04817618 Recruiting - C3G Clinical Trials

Study of Efficacy and Safety of Iptacopan in Patients With C3 Glomerulopathy.

APPEAR-C3G
Start date: July 28, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The Primary Completion Date and Study Completion Date have been updated to reflect completion of the adolescent cohort, which has been added to the protocol. The study is designed as a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of iptacopan (LNP023) in complement 3 glomerulopathy.

NCT ID: NCT04812808 Recruiting - Pancreas Cancer Clinical Trials

Bazedoxifene as a Concomitant Treatment of Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

BAZE
Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Bazedoxifene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator is thought to have effective anti-tumoral properties for pancreatic cancer via IL-6 pathway (GP130/STAT3) inhibition. The objective is to measure IL-6 (GP130/STAT3)-pathway modification on metastasis biopsy of patients with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma before and after treatment with bazedoxifene in addition to chemotherapy. This study is a single-center, prospective, nonrandomized trial.

NCT ID: NCT04811794 Recruiting - Childhood Cancer Clinical Trials

Young Survivors at Kantonsspital Aarau, Switzerland

Start date: March 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The Young Survivors at Kantonsspital Aarau project assesses the prevalence and severity of late effects in survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer according to the modified CTCAE criteria prospectively. The clinical data are generated during regular follow-up care visits, the collection starts directly after completion of treatment and is longitudinally.

NCT ID: NCT04811092 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Study of Sotatercept in Newly Diagnosed Intermediate- and High-Risk PAH Participants (MK-7962-005/A011-13)

HYPERION
Start date: March 18, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of sotatercept (MK-7962, formerly called ACE-011) treatment (plus background pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) therapy) versus placebo (plus background PAH therapy) on time to clinical worsening (TTCW) in participants who are newly diagnosed with PAH and are at intermediate or high risk of disease progression.

NCT ID: NCT04809298 Recruiting - Lumbar Pain Clinical Trials

Comparison of a New Needle Navigation Device for CT-guided Interventions to the Conventional Free-hand Method

PunctureCube
Start date: June 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In a prospective, randomized, controlled, parallel group study the accuracy, intervention time and radiation dose of CT-guided punctures using the Puncture Cube® will be compared to the conventional free-hand method in patients requiring a percutaneous diagnostic or therapeutic CT-guided intervention for lumbar pain (facet joint-, nerve root-, epidural infiltrations at the lumbar/lumbosacral level).

NCT ID: NCT04808401 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Influence of Oxygen on Perioperative Outcome in Patients Undergoing General Anaesthesia for Elective Non-cardiac Surgery

Promise-O2
Start date: May 7, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of supraphysiologic oxygen (hyperoxia) on myocardial function in anaesthetized patients undergoing non-cardiac vascular surgery.

NCT ID: NCT04807192 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Triple Negative Breast Cancer

CMP-001 and Pre-operative Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) in Early Stage Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)

Start date: April 8, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, randomized, window-of-opportunity phase 2 clinical study evaluating the biological activity of preoperative Stereotactic Body RadioTherapy (SBRT) alone (Arm 1), and combined with subcutaneous (SC) followed by intra-tumoral (IT) administrations of CMP-001 (Arm 2), in subjects with early stage TNBC. Safety and efficacy of the treatments are also examined. The main hypothesis that the study treatment induces an increase in stromal tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (sTILs) will be explored in each arm separately. The study is designed as a randomized selection study, with randomization used to address patient selection bias while each arm is run as an independent study. No formal statistical comparison between the two arms is planned. 40 patients will be equally (1:1) randomized in this study (20 per arm).

NCT ID: NCT04806555 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Compartment Syndrome of Leg

Diagnostic Value of Compression Ultrasound to Detect Acute Compartment Syndrome After Lower Limb Revascularisation

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Acute compartment syndrome (ACS) after revascularization for acute limb ischemia is a potentially limb-threatening condition and requires urgent fasciotomy. Compression ultrasound (CU) is an established method for measuring intravenous pressure in superficial veins and, for example, can determine central venous pressure in critically ill patients. In cadaver studies, compression ultrasound has been proven to correlate with invasive intra compartmental pressure (ICP) measurements. This study aims to determine CU's added diagnostic value compared to ICP in detecting ACS after revascularisation.
