NCT ID: NCT05841537 Recruiting - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

An Observational Study to Assess Change in Disease Activity and Adverse Events In Adult Participants With Moderate to Severe Active Crohn's Disease (CD)

APPRISE
Start date: June 9, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Crohn's disease (CD) is an incurable chronic inflammatory disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. This study will assess how safe and effective risankizumab is in treating moderately to severely active CD in real world. Adverse events and change in disease activity will be assessed. Risankizumab is a drug approved for the treatment of CD. All study participants will receive risankizumab as prescribed by their study doctor in accordance with approved local label. Approximately 1000 participants will be enrolled worldwide. Participants will receive risankizumab as prescribed by their physician according to their routine clinical practice and local label. Participants will be followed for up to 36 months. There is expected to be no additional burden for participants in this trial. Study visits may be conducted on-site or virtually as per standard of care.

NCT ID: NCT05840757 Completed - Clinical trials for Aortic Valve Disease

Non-Invasive MOnitoring in Transcathether Aortic Valve Implantation

NIMO-TAVI
Start date: March 31, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In patients with severe aortic stenosis (AS) undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) minimal evidence is available for invasive hemodynamic monitoring and no evidence for tools able to measure traditionally invasive parameters non-invasively for peri-procedural guidance and post-interventional management. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a non-invasive hemodynamics monitoring tool called ClearSight for monitoring during TAVI procedures compared with standard invasive measurements.

NCT ID: NCT05840289 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Aggressive B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

A Study on Fractionated Rituximab to Avoid Lysis Syndrome in Aggressive B-Lymphoma

FRILLY
Start date: August 24, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Tumour lysis syndrome (TLS) occurs as a consequence of the rapid destruction of malignant cells, spontaneously and/or in response to cytotoxic agents and immunotherapies. TLS is a feature of highly proliferative diseases with heavy tumor burden, such as high-grade non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL, typically Burkitt's lymphoma). We evaluated fractionating first rituximab dose to prevent TLS in a real-life B-cell NHL cohort of patients treated at University Hospital of Geneva between 2010 and 2020.

NCT ID: NCT05839418 Recruiting - Status Epilepticus Clinical Trials

Sustained Effort Network for Treatment of Status Epilepticus/European Academy of Neurology Registry on Refractory Status Epilepticus (SENSE-II/AROUSE)

SENSEII/AROUSE
Start date: March 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

SENSE-II/AROUSE is a prospective, multicenter registry for patients treated for SE. The primary objective is to document patients and SE characteristics, treatment modalities, EEG features, and outcome of consecutive adults admitted fir SE treatment in each of the participating centers and to identify predictors of outcome and refractoriness.

NCT ID: NCT05837546 Completed - Clinical trials for Animal-assisted Intervention

Neurodynamic of the Human Brain Underlying Animal-assisted Intervention in Healthy Adults

NMAAI
Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The electrical activity of the brain will be studied using EEG on healthy young adults. The frontal alpha asymmetry (FAA) of the participant will be measured during three conditions: presence of a dog, presence of a replica dog, presence of a plant. The researchers hypothesize that the activity in the left frontal hemisphere is greater than in the right during an animal-assisted intervention compared to the control conditions.

NCT ID: NCT05836324 Recruiting - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Safety of INCA33890 in Participants With Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors

Start date: July 24, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the safety, tolerability, and DLTs and determine the MTD and/or RDE(s) of INCA33890 in participants with select advanced or metastatic solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05834894 Active, not recruiting - Lean Body Mass Clinical Trials

Does Muscle Mass at Intensive Care Unit Admission Determine Mortality: The Memo Study

MEMO
Start date: January 1, 2010
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This retrospective monocentric study aims to investigate whether a low muscle mass at ICU admission and its loss over the ICU stay predicts mortality, and in what proportion we can counteract it by nutritional support.

NCT ID: NCT05831319 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Peripheral Arterial Disease

Evaluation of Standard of Care Practices, Procedural Outcomes and In-hospital Complications of Peripheral Endovascular Procedures

BIO-OSCAR SOC
Start date: May 29, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Significant advances in dedicated materials and techniques along with increased operator experience led to a significant increment in procedural success rate of peripheral endovascular interventions, exceeding 90% in expert hands with reported low procedural complication rates. However, there are still lack of data on procedural outcomes, in-hospital complications, and resource utilization on treatment of (complex) lesions in the femoral, popliteal and infrapopliteal artery in the real-world condition in Europe.

NCT ID: NCT05830513 Not yet recruiting - Pain, Postoperative Clinical Trials

OPU-LUX: Virtual Reality for Pain and Anxiety Management During Oocyte Pick-up

OPU-LUX
Start date: May 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles are increasingly performed worldwide. Transvaginal oocyte pick-up (OPU) is a painful part of IVF. OPU in polyfollicular IVF is usually performed under sedation and pain relief. In natural cycle IVF or IVF with minimal stimulation OPU is possible without anesthesia. Mostly of the women reported experiencing mild to moderate pain when undergoing OPU without anesthesia. Nevertheless, there is a need for alternative pain treatment options during OPU to reduce the burden of IVF for patients. Virtual reality (VR) may have a role in acutely painful procedures as a non-pharmacological alternative. VR refers to the interactions between an individual and a computer-generated environment stimulating multiple sensory modalities. The immersive, entertaining effects of VR could be useful for redirecting the patient's attention away from painful treatment experiences and reducing anxiety, discomfort, or unpleasantness. Use of VR interventions has been studies in a wider range of medical treatment.
