Bilingualism has been shown to have a strong protective effect against dementia, delaying the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease by up to 4 years. The purpose of the study is to test whether learning a second language using Duolingo software could improve cognitive functions in older adults.

Physical activity is now recognized as a therapy for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) that not only improves physical fitness and functional mobility, but there is some evidence that it may also positively influence the more invisible symptoms of the disease that represent "brain health" - fatigue, depression and cognitive impairment. One important feature of physical activity is that it reduces inflammation throughout the body and the brain. The goal of this research is to determine whether people with MS feel less fatigue, depression and cognitive impairment after a program of exercise because there is a decrease in the state of inflammation in the brain.

Non-invasive Brain Stimulation Using Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation for Neuropsychiatric Symptoms of Dementia

Agitation and aggression impose a tremendous burden on the individuals living with dementia, their families, caregivers, and healthcare systems. Neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia (NPS) affect up to 80% of patients with Alzheimer's dementia. These symptoms impair patient and care giver's quality of life, increase the chances of hospitalization and also result in faster progression of the illness. The efficacy of current treatments is limited and the antipsychotic medications commonly used to treat these symptoms are associated with serious side effects. Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive brain stimulation technique that uses a very low intensity electric current to modulate cortical excitability and brain plasticity. tDCS can be safely administered to awake persons and is very well tolerated. In this study the investigators will use tDCS to treat agitation related to NPSD.

Safety, Preliminary Efficacy and PK of Isatuximab (SAR650984) Alone or in Combination With Atezolizumab in Patients With Advanced Malignancies

Primary Objectives: - Phase 1: To characterize the safety and tolerability of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab in participants with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), platinum-refractory recurrent/metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN), platinum-resistant/refractory epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), or recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), and to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D). - Phase 2: To assess response rate (RR) of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab in participants with HCC or SCCHN or EOC. - Phase 2: To assess the progression free survival rate at 6 months (PFS-6) of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab, or as a single agent in participants with GBM. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the safety profile of isatuximab monotherapy (GBM only), or in combination with atezolizumab in Phase 2. - To evaluate the immunogenicity of isatuximab and atezolizumab. - To characterize the pharmacokinetic (PK) profile of isatuximab single agent (GBM only) and atezolizumab in combination with isatuximab. - To assess the overall efficacy of isatuximab in combination with atezolizumab, or single agent (GBM only).

Research question: Does feeding hindmilk improve weight gain in very preterm infants with poor growth velocity? Hypothesis: In very preterm infants (born less than 32 weeks gestation) with poor postnatal growth velocity (<15 g/kg/day), feeding hindmilk would improve average weight gain by at least 4 g/kg per day. Study design: This will be a prospective cohort study in very preterm infants admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Foothills Medical Centre
