The primary objective is: To evaluate the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran on daily functioning that is impacted by signs and symptoms in patients with symptomatic generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) The secondary objectives of the study are: - To evaluate the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran (ie, combination) and cemdisiran monotherapy on: - Clinician-assessed signs of myasthenia gravis (MG) and muscle strength - Daily functioning that is impacted by signs and symptoms in patients with symptomatic gMG (cemdisiran monotherapy only). - Proportion of patients with improvements in daily function that is impacted by signs and symptoms of MG - Proportion of patients that have improvements in clinician-assessed signs of MG and muscle strength - Health related quality of life - Proportion of patients with minimal MG symptoms - Patient- and clinician-reported signs and symptoms of MG - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of pozelimab + cemdisiran and cemdisiran monotherapy - To assess the concentration of total pozelimab in serum - To assess the concentrations of cemdisiran and its metabolites in plasma - To assess the immunogenicity of pozelimab - To assess the concentration of total C5 in plasma - To assess the immunogenicity of cemdisiran - To study the effect of pozelimab + cemdisiran and cemdisiran monotherapy on complement activation

Comparison of Erector Spinae Plane Block and Pectoral Nerve Block for Acute and Chronic Pain in Mastectomies

Ultrasound-guided blockage of the erector plane of the spine (known as ESP BLOCK) is a recently described block and a very useful strategy in the perioperative period as it provides effective analgesia in thoracic surgery. Ultrasound-guided type II pectoral nerve block (internationally known by the acronym Pecs II block) is a very useful strategy in the perioperative period because it provides effective analgesia in breast surgeries and can optimize results. The aim of this study is to assess perioperative pain in mastectomies. This is a prospective, randomized, single-blinded study that will compare the effects of spinal erector plane block versus pectoral nerve block in patients scheduled for mastectomy. The ESP group will receive balanced general anesthesia associated with ESP BLOCK with 0.5% ropivacaine guided by ultrasound. The Pecs II group will receive balanced general anesthesia associated with Pecs II block with 0.5% ropivacaine guided by USG.

Fibromyalgia is a public health condition, which causes great functional disability. Conventional treatment modalities have been shown a very poor therapeutic response, in that most individuals end up becoming poly-medicated and refractory to treatment. Non-pharmacological techniques with promising effects on the syndrome symptoms include both hypnotic analgesia and the transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS). Giving the treatment limitations of this syndrome its important to better understand the pain processess in fibromyalgia and treatments effect. This project was developed in order to evaluate the synergistic effect of a hypnotic analgesia suggestion associated with tDCS over pain levels and cortical excitability in individuals with fibromyalgia over a nociceptive stimulation pattern.
