NCT ID: NCT05262400 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Learn About the Study Medicine (Called PF-07220060 in Combination With PF-07104091) In Participants With Breast Cancer and Solid Tumors

Start date: March 14, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called PF-07220060 and PF-07104091) in people with breast cancer. This clinical study consists of 2 parts (part 1 and part 2). In part 1, we are seeking participants who: - Have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer (BC) of either types: - Have HR+, HER2- BC - Refractory HR-positive/HER2-positive BC - Have other solid tumors other than BC In part 2, we are seeking participants who: -Have HR-positive/HER2-negative BC Part 1 will include increasing doses of PF-07220060 with PF-07104091. In part 2, participants will take 1 of 2 study medicine combinations. This will help us decide the highest amount of study medicines that can be safety given to people. All participants in this study will receive PF-07220060 with PF-07104091 by mouth. We will compare participant experiences to help us determine if PF-07220060 with PF-07104091 is safe and effective. Participants will take part in this study for about 2 years. During this time, they will receive the study medicine, an x-ray imaging, and will be observed for safety and effects of the study medicines.

NCT ID: NCT05260892 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Edentulous Alveolar Ridge

Incisors Single-Unit Rehabilitation With Narrow GM Implants

Start date: October 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The Narrow GM Implants were designed for oral functional rehabilitation using dental implants, allowing for treatment of patients with different bone qualities in the region of lateral incisors in the maxilla or the region of lateral and central incisors in the mandible. The objective of the study is to confirm the long-term safety and clinical performance of implants and abutments of the Narrow GM System in a daily dental practice setting, by means of a prospective collection of clinical data in an observational study using these devices. Devices will be used according to standard routine in daily practice, according to all indications as specified by the manufacturer in the instructions for use (IFU). 55 patients (needed to obtain a sample size of 55 implants) will be followed for 36 months and monitored for Adverse Events by the Investigators until the last protocol-related procedure of a patient is completed.

The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the feasibility of a home based exercise program for individuals with breast or prostate cancer patients undergoing active treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05256667 Recruiting - Tooth, Nonvital Clinical Trials

Comparison Between RCT in Single and Two Visits, With and Without Intracanal Dressing, in Apical Repair

Start date: October 2, 2021
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, prospective, double-blind, controlled clinical trial designed to evaluate 3 distinct clinical approaches used during endodontic therapy: Group 1- Root canal treatment in single visit (RCT-SV); Group 2- Root canal treatment in two visits with intracanal dressing (RCT-TVWD); Group 3- Root canal treatment in two visits without intracanal dressing (RCT-TVWOD). A total of 210 adult patients ages 18 to 60 years, with at least one tooth diagnosed with asymptomatic apical periodontitis and periradicular lesion will be randomized and will undergo one of the types of clinical approaches during endodontic therapy. Patients' postoperative pain levels will also be recorded in periods of 24, 48, 72 hours and 7 days. Subsequently, clinical findings and long-term follow-up evaluations, with periradicular repair will be performed by periapical radiograph and computed tomography (cone-beam) at 6th, 12th and 24th months.

NCT ID: NCT05254743 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

NCT ID: NCT05253651 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Neoplasms

A Study of Tucatinib With Trastuzumab and mFOLFOX6 Versus Standard of Care Treatment in First-line HER2+ Metastatic Colorectal Cancer

MOUNTAINEER-03
Start date: October 24, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is being done to find out if tucatinib with other cancer drugs works better than standard of care to treat participants with HER2 positive colorectal cancer. This study will also test what side effects happen when participants take this combination of drugs. A side effect is anything a drug does to the body besides treating your disease. Participants in this study have colorectal cancer that has spread through the body (metastatic) and/or cannot be removed with surgery (unresectable). Participants will be assigned randomly to the tucatinib group or standard of care group. The tucatinib group will get tucatinib, trastuzumab, and mFOLFOX6. The standard of care group will get either: - mFOLFOX6 alone, - mFOLFOX6 with bevacizumab, or - mFOLFOX6 with cetuximab mFOLFOX6 is a combination of multiple drugs. All of the drugs given in this study are used to treat this type of cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05252117 Recruiting - Contraception Clinical Trials

Uterovaginal Plexus Block With Articaine for Intrauterine Device Placement Patients Who Are Indicated for the Use of Copper IUD as a Contraceptive Method Will be Invited to Participate in This Research.

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The use of intrauterine device (IUD) in Brazil is still not very significant and one of the reasons is the fear of feeling pain during its insertion procedure. Articaine is an amide-linked local anesthetic, its plasma half-life is shorter than that of most other amide-type anesthetics, which makes it theoretically favorable in relation to systemic toxicity.
