There are about 13446 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Belgium. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Evaluation of the best therapeutic index for patients with platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer when treatment with bevacizumab and gemcitabine/carboplatin or with bevacizumab and PLD/carboplatin.
Empyema following pneumonectomy for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is a known problem that occurs in about 2% of pneumonectomy patients.
Primary Objective: - To assess the effect of SAR302503 (500 mg) administered as 14-day repeated doses on the QTcF interval compared to 1-day placebo in patients with advanced solid tumors. Secondary Objectives: - To assess the effect of SAR302503 administered as 14-day repeated doses on heart rate (HR), QT, QTcB, and QTcN, PR and QRS compared to placebo. - To assess the clinical and laboratory safety of SAR302503 - To document the plasma concentrations of SAR302503 at the time of ECG investigation. - To explore the Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic relationship between SAR302503 concentration and QTcF - To explore antitumor activity
This trial is conducted globally. The aim of the trial is to confirm the efficacy and safety of liraglutide as adjunct therapy to insulin in the treatment of type 1 diabetes. The total trial duration per subject is approximately 58 weeks.
The purpose of the study is to assess the clinical effect of QAW039 in non-atopic asthmatics taking low dose Inhaled Corticosteroid (ICS) as background therapy.
This trial is conducted in Asia, Europe and North and South America. The aim of the trial is to investigate the efficacy and safety of insulin degludec/insulin aspart once daily plus insulin aspart for the remaining meals in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
This retrospective, observational, multi-center study will evaluate the use of biological agents (e.g. RoActemra/Actemra [tocilizumab]) in monotherapy in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Data from medical record files will be collected of patients currently treated with a biologic in monotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to determine if NIF fluorescent imaging is an effective approach to detect the gross ovarian tumoral tissues and peritoneal implants in Ovarian cancer patients.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of listening to ambient music on the perceived exertion rate during pulmonary rehabilitation for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients.
50 Right-handed antidepressant-free unipolar depressed patients (age 18-65 years) will be treated with in total 20 Theta burst sessions; these will be spread over 4 days. On each stimulation day, a given patient shall receive 5 sessions with a between session delay of 10 to 15 minutes. Patients will be selected using the structured Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI). All will be at least stage I treatment resistant. Because concomitant antidepressant treatment can confound outcome results, all patients will go through a medication washout before entering the study and they will be free from any antidepressant, neuroleptic and mood stabilizer for at least two weeks before entering the treatment protocol. Only habitual benzodiazepine agents will be allowed. All patients will be closely matched for gender and age with 50 never-depressed medication-free healthy volunteers. Only baseline measurements will be collected: no volunteer will undergo the treatment. We expect that real Theta burst treatment and not sham will result in a significant and clinical meaningful response.
