Primary objectives: - Randomization R1, all patients eligible: To examine, whether the cumulative incidence of relapses with involvement of the CNS (CNS relapse, pCICR) can be decreased by a modified induction therapy including dexamethasone (experimental arm) instead of prednisone (standard arm) - Randomization R2, only patients with high risk LBL eligible: to examine, whether the probability of event-free survival (pEFS) in these patients can be improved by receiving an intensified treatment arm versus a standard treatment arm (as used in the EURO-LB 02)

NOUS-209-01 is a multicenter, open-label, multiple cohorts, clinical study, designed to evaluate safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity, and to detect any preliminary evidence of anti-tumor activity of Nous-209 genetic polyvalent vaccine plus pembrolizumab combination therapy in adult subjects with unresectable or metastatic deficient mismatch repair (dMMR) or MSI-H CRC, gastric, or gastro-esophageal junction (G-E junction) tumors. Nous-209 is based on a heterologous prime/boost regimen composed of the Great Ape Adenovirus GAd20-209-FSP used for priming and Modified Vaccinia virus Ankara MVA-209-FSP used for boosting. The Phase I portion of the study is a first-in-human (FIH) clinical study with a primary objective to elucidate the safety and tolerability of Nous-209 in addition to establishing the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D), whereas the Phase II was introduced to assess efficacy as the primary objective.
Chemotherapy (CT) remains an important treatment modality for breast cancer patients. Unfortunately, this systemic treatment comes with many quality of life impairing complications. Chemotherapy-induced alopecia (CIA) occurs in about 65% of the patients. Hair loss due to CT is reversible, but hair regrowth requires several months to a year after CT. Currently, the only available preventive measure is based on scalp cooling. Nevertheless, this treatment has a highly variable success rate and it brings along several side effects. Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) is a new, preventive and therapeutic technique in the supportive care of cancer patients. It uses visible and (near)- infrared light produced by laser diodes or light-emitting diodes (LED) at a low power to stimulate tissue repair and reduce inflammation and pain. The investigator's research team demonstrated already that PBMT can prevent oral mucositis and acute radiodermatitis. The aim of this project is to explore the use of PBMT in the management of CIA. Results of this project will lead to an improvement of the patients' quality of life after CT.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of ocrelizumab ( Ocrevus®) compared with placebo in participants with primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS), including participants later in their disease course. This study focuses on upper limit disability progression. This study will consist of the following phases: screening, double-blind treatment, follow-up 1 (FU1), an optional open-label extension (OLE), follow-up 2 (FU2), and B-cell monitoring (BCM).

The goal of this project is thoroughly evaluate the added value of telemonitoring (TM) program for women at risk for gestational hypertensive disorders (GHD), by investigating it impact on prenatal follow-up, health outcomes for mother and child, costs and satisfaction, and by specifically investigating what are the major contributors to this added value. A substudy (CAPROM) will be conducted at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (ZOL) in collaboration with the Department of Physiology of Hasselt University in the framework of the Limburg Clinical Research Center (LCRC). CAPROM aims at evaluating the relationship between longitudinal (clinical) blood pressure measurements and changes in (subclinical) cardiovascular (CV) hemodynamics throughout pregnancy, as well as their responses to antihypertensive medication. To this end, CV profiling will be performed longitudinally on pregnant women at risk for developing GHD being included in the TM group of the PREMOM II study (group 1) or being followed-up via TM as part of their usual care (group 2). A separate ICF is signed for inclusion in the CAPROM substudy. The results of the CAPROM study will be performed by a researcher who is not involved in the PREMOM II main study. In addition, results of the CV profiling will not be communicated to the clinical decision makers of PREMOM II.

Citrate anticoagulation is becoming the gold standard in dialysis in intensive care units. It is now accepted that citrate prolongs the life of filters with a lower risk of bleeding. However, the management of citrate is complex. Optimization is based on citrate flow, blood flow and the amount of calcium reinjected. Frequently the citrate level is sub-dosed.Currently, the fraction of excretion of citrate by the hemodialysis machine is unknown. Knowing this information would allow, if it is important enough, to add an additional parameter of citrate management by adapting the level of dialysis. The determination of citrate in an extracorporeal circulation circuit has already been performed and has been validated in the literature. We propose to perform the assay on subjects with the same starting parameters, in order to deduce the clearance of citrate.
Open-label, interventional, multicentric, randomized, phase III study. Cancer studied is the oropharyngeal cancer. Study is composed by 2 arms of subjects: prophylactic or reactive percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement. All subjects will be treated with a cisplatin standard chemotherapy regimen and by simultaneous integrated boost (SIB) intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
