There are about 13446 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Belgium. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective of Parts 1 and 2 of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of AMG 193 alone and in combination with docetaxel in adult participants with metastatic or locally advanced methylthioadenosine phosphorylase (MTAP)-null solid tumors. The primary objective of Part 3 of this study is to evaluate the objective response rate (ORR) of AMG 193 in adult participants with metastatic or locally advanced MTAP-null solid tumors.
This is a Phase 3, multicenter, open-label, randomized study of nemvaleukin in combination with pembrolizumab versus protocol-specific Investigator's choice chemotherapy in patients with platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.
The purpose of this study is to collect long-term safety data of subcutaneous (SC) ustekinumab
The study aims to investigate the effect of Philips Ambient Experience with specially designed paediatric content on the experience of pediatric patients undergoing an MRI examination, their caregiver, and clinical staff, on workflow and on clinical outcome. The designed paediatric content exists of personal selection of a character, video projection on the wall and/or a screen visible when in the bore, audio, and room ambience lighting. The study will be conducted in collaboration with six partner hospitals within the EU. At each hospital, 50 pediatric patients between 6 and 12 years old will be included in the study.
The study looked at whether regular physical activity can influence sleep duration, sleep quality and/or anxiety in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The link between exercise and sleep has already been observed in the literature, but the impact of exercise on sleep is poorly understood. The question is how important is the influence of regular physical activity on sleep, anxiety and depression in patients with COPD or IPF.
The aim of the GLORIA study is to determine whether an altered glucose metabolism (with more hypoglycaemia and glycaemic variability) and altered metabolomics during pregnancy after bariatric surgery contribute to the increased risk for adverse pregnancy outcomes such as small-for-gestational age infants. In addition, the investigators also aim to evaluate whether continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) can be used to diagnose gestational diabetes (GDM).
Surgical resection is the only potentially curative treatment for patients with pancreatic cancer with the aim of curative R0 resection and related improvement of survival. As a standard, surgery is usually followed by adjuvant therapy that improves survival but neoadjuvant therapy (NAT) is a rapidly emerging concept that needs to be explored and validated in terms of therapeutic options in borderline resectable pancreatic tumors. In this setting, preoperative FFX seems to be feasible and can be prolonged by radiation therapy. However, the exact and best therapeutic sequence is not yet known and the additional role of adding isotoxic high-dose stereotactic body radiotherapy (iHD-SBRT) to chemotherapy requires validation in randomised trials. We propose to evaluate the impact and efficacy of adding iHD-SBRT to preoperative neoadjuvant mFFX or Gem-NabP in patients with borderline resectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
This registry will capture real-world clinical use patterns and associated clinical outcomes with the use of CytoSorb for the removal of antithrombotic agents.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of ozanimod (RPC1063) in achieving and maintaining clinical remission. Ozanimod will be administered orally to pediatric participants with moderate to severe active ulcerative colitis (UC) who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy.
This study will assess the safety and efficacy of avutometinib (VS-6766) in combination with sotorasib with or without defactinib in patients with KRAS G12C Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in patients who have been exposed to prior G12C inhibitor and those who have not been exposed to prior G12C inhibitor.
