There are about 10460 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Australia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of ponatinib in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in chronic phase (CP), accelerated phase (AP) or blast phase (BP) or with philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who either are resistant or intolerant to either dasatinib or nilotinib, or have the (T)hreonine-315-(I)soleucine (T315I) mutation.
To compare the analgesic efficacy and safety of ABT-652 administered twice daily (BID) to placebo in subjects with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee.
The purpose of this SLE study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of two different doses of LY2127399 administered in addition to standard of care therapy in participants with active SLE.
At least 1 dose of pegIFNλ will be identified which is safe, well tolerated, and efficacious for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection (CHB) Amendment 7, Part B Sub Study: The primary purpose of this amendment is to obtain preliminary data on the safety of pegylated interferon Lambda (Lambda) when administered in combination with Entecavir(ETV) to patients with hepatitis E antigen-positive (HBeAg-positive) chronic hepatitis B(CHB) infection employing a sequential therapy approach
The purpose of this study is to determine if treatment with paclitaxel plus AMG 386 is superior to paclitaxel plus placebo in women with recurrent partially platinum sensitive or resistant epithelial ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal cancer or fallopian tube cancer. AMG 386 is a man-made medication that is designed to stop the development of blood vessels in cancer tissues. Cancer tissues rely on the development of new blood vessels, a process called angiogenesis, to obtain a supply of oxygen and nutrients to grow.
This investigation is designed with the hypothesis that combined PV Antral Isolation and Ablation of Complex Fractionated Electrograms (PVI+CFE) approach will offer a higher success rate compared to the Wide Circumferential Pulmonary Vein Antrum Isolation (PVI) approach and to the Combined PV Antral Isolation and Empiric Linear Ablation (PVI+Lines) approach.
The primary goal of this project is to develop and test a Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT) Pediatric Scale for use in evaluation in natural history CMT study.
The primary purpose of this study is to help answer if LY2127399 is safe and effective in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in participants with an inadequate response to one or more tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) inhibitors. This study is comprised of 2 periods: Period 1: 24-week blinded treatment Period 2: 48-week post-treatment follow-up
The primary purpose of this study is to help answer if LY2127399 is safe and effective in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with or without background disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) therapy. This study is comprised of 2 periods: Period 1 - 24-week blinded treatment Period 2 - 48-week post-treatment follow-up
