The purpose of this study is to determine whether a single treatment with administration of 400 Units NT 201 (botulinum toxin) is superior to placebo (no medicine) for the treatment of lower limb spasticity caused by stroke or traumatic brain injury (Main Period). Participants will be assigned to the treatment groups by chance and neither the participants nor the research staff who interact with them will know the allocation. The following 4 to 5 treatment cycles will investigate the safety and tolerability of treatment with NT 201 (botulinum toxin) when administered in doses between 400 and 800 Units (Open Label Extension Period). All participants will receive the treatment and the dose will depend on whether only lower limb spasticity or combined upper and lower limb spasticity are treated.
This study will evaluate the proportion of patients achieving confirmed SVR12 (undetectable HCV RNA at time point 12 weeks plus post treatment commencement) in patients hospitalised for IRID (injecting related infectious diseases) and commencing inpatient DAA treatment within public hospital services.
The trial will investigate the combination of venetoclax, obinutuzumab and lenalidomide in patients with treatment-naïve follicular lymphoma. Patients will receive induction treatment for 0.5 years with venetoclax, obinutuzumab and lenalidomide followed by maintenance treatment for upto 2 years. Maintenance treatment will be determined by the response at the end of induction. Following completion of treatment patients will be followed up for 3 years after the last patient completes induction treatment.
A roll-over study to assess long-term effect in pediatric patients treated with dabrafenib and/or trametinib.
This study is being done to see if tucatinib with ado-trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1) works better than T-DM1 alone to help patients who have a specific type of breast cancer called HER2 positive breast carcinoma. The breast cancer in this study is either metastatic (spread into other parts of the body) or cannot be removed completely with surgery. Patients in this study will be randomly assigned to get either tucatinib or placebo (a pill with no medicine). This is a blinded study, so neither patients nor their doctors will know whether a patient gets tucatinib or placebo. All patients in the study will get T-DM1, a drug that is often used to treat this cancer. Each treatment cycle lasts 21 days. Patients will swallow tucatinib pills or placebo pills two times every day. Patients will get T-DM1 injections from the study site staff on the first day of every cycle.
Glioblastoma (GBM) adaptive, global, innovative learning environment (GBM AGILE) is an international, seamless Phase II/III response adaptive randomization platform trial designed to evaluate multiple therapies in newly diagnosed (ND) and recurrent GBM.
The TRACK trial is an investigator-initiated, multicentre, prospective, randomised, quadruple-blind (participant, healthcare provider, data collector, outcomes assessor), placebo-controlled trial. TRACK is a global trial and will be conducted in renal units that provide comprehensive CKD care. Approximately 2000 participants will be recruited. The TRACK trial will assess a strategy of administering low dose rivaroxaban to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiac event (MACE) in people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stages 4 or 5 or dialysis-dependent kidney failure, and elevated cardiovascular (CV) risk (marked by a history of CAD or PAD, or non-haemorrhagic non-lacunar stroke OR diabetes mellitus OR age ≥65 years).
The primary objective of the study is to compare disease-free survival (DFS) of patients with high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) treated with adjuvant cemiplimab, versus those treated with placebo, after surgery and radiation therapy (RT). This is a phase I/II study to evaluate the feasibility, safety and preliminary antitumor efficacy of rapcabtagene autoleucel (also known as YTB323). Rapcabtagene autoleucel will be investigated in combination with ibrutinib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) and as single agent in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (3L+ DLBCL), adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and 1st Line High Risk Large B-Cell Lymphoma (1L HR LBCL).
