This is a Phase III, global, randomized, open-label, multicenter, study evaluating the efficacy and safety of adjuvant giredestrant compared with endocrine therapy of physician's choice in participants with medium- and high-risk Stage I-III histologically confirmed estrogen receptor (ER)-positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative early breast cancer. In addition, an open-label exploratory substudy will explore the safety and efficacy of giredestrant in combination with abemaciclib in a subset of the primary study population.

A global phase 3, multicenter, randomized, trial, to Determine the Efficacy and Safety of Durvalumab in combination with Tremelimumab and Enfortumab Vedotin or Durvalumab in combination with Enfortumab vedotin for Perioperative Treatment in Patients Ineligible for Cisplatin or who refuse Cisplantin Undergoing Radical Cystectomy for Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer. The goal of the study is to explore the triplet combination of Durvalumab, Tremelimumab and Enfortumab Vedotin in terms of efficacy and safety compared to the current Standard Of Care (SOC). Volga trial consists of two parts: Safety Run-In and Main Study. In total the study aims to enroll approximately 830 patients, who will receive triplet combination, duplet combination of Durvalumab and Enfortumab vedotin or currently approved SOC in the main trial. In the main part of the trial there is two out of three chances of being on a treatment arm and the treatment is assigned at random by a computer system. In this trial patients in the two treatment arms will receive either 3 cycles of neoadjuvant Durvalumab + Tremelimumab + Enfortumab Vedotin or Durvalumab + Enfortumab vedotin and after surgery both treatment arms will continue with adjuvant Durvalumab.

Children and young people are moving less and less. In combination with an unhealthy diet, this has led to a sharp increase in overweight and obesity among children worldwide. Very often, physical illnesses occur in adolescence that can be directly attributed to the overweight and obesity. In order to protect children from these consequences in time, a daily exercise unit of 45 minutes is built into their learning. This exercise will take place in addition to physical education classes as part of your child's school day and will be conducted by a teacher. We will examine the children of the participating schools with regard to health-related characteristics.

Study on the Treatment With Water-filtered Infrared-A (wIRA) Radiation in Patients With Morphea and Sclerotic Graft-versus-host Disease

This is a prospective, intra-individual comparative study to evaluate the effectiveness of local-water filtered infrared-A (wIRA) irradiation (applied by Hydrosun® radiator 750 for radiation at the clinic, or Hydrosun® 575home for home treatment) in patients with morphea or sclerotic GVHD (Graft-versus-host Disease). The purpose of the study is to determine whether wIRA irradiation can reduce fibrotic skin alterations in circumscribed scleroderma (morphea) or chronic graft versus host disease. wIRA irradiation is applied for 30 minutes 3 times per week for 20 weeks to a diseased skin area and a lesional skin on contralateral body site remains untreated. A total of 22 patients (20 evaluable patients with an expected drop-out rate of 10%) are to be included in this study. Group A: 11 patients with plaque morphea Group B: 11 patients with sclerotic GVHD.

During diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures scatter radiation exposure is recorded with live-dosimeters at pre-specified anatomic regions of operators and sterile assistants. Scatter radiation data is correlated with detailed Xray exposure data and technical details of the procedure. The purpose of the registry is: 1. to establish scatter radiation reference values based on a large number of representative cath-lab procedures 2. to identify technical and clinical factors predisposing for high scatter radiation exposure, 3. to evaluate advanced radiation protection devices in clinical routine.

CRP Apheresis in STEMI

Background: In patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), the amount of infarcted myocardium (infarct size) is known to be a major predictor for adverse remodeling and recurrent adverse cardiovascular events. Effective cardio-protective strategies with the aim of reducing infarct size are therefore of great interest. Local and systemic inflammation influences the fate of ischemic myocardium and thus, adverse remodeling and clinical outcome. C-reactive protein (CRP) also acts as a potential mechanistic mediator that adversely affects the amount of irreversible myocardial tissue damage after acute myocardial infarction. Objective: The main objectives of the current study are to investigate the efficacy of selective CRP apheresis, using the PentraSorb®-CRP system, as an adjunctive therapy to standard of care for patients with acute STEMI treated with primary PCI. Design: Investigator-initiated, prospective, randomized, open-label (outcome assessors masked), controlled, multicenter, two group trial with a two-stage adaptive design. Innovation: Selective CRP apheresis offers potential to decrease infarct size and consequently improve outcome after PCI for STEMI. This is the first randomized trial investigating the impact of selective CRP apheresis on infarct size in post-STEMI patients. In perspective, the study design allows furthermore to collect robust evidence for the design of a definitive outcome study.

The EU-ROP registry is a European wide multicenter non-interventional observational registry study intended to run open-ended in as many countries as possible including infants treated for retinopathy of prematurity irrespective of the used treatment modality. The registry is strictly observational; only clinical routine data is collected, no study-specific examinations or interventions are to be performed. The aim of the EU-ROP registry is to collect information on as many patients as possible treated for ROP in Europe. Both the number of study centers as well as the number of patients to be included into the registry are not limited. The primary objective is to describe the typical clinical features of infants with severe ROP, variations in phenotype, and the clinical progression of the disease over time (natural history) in different European countries as well as to study treatment patterns, follow-up patterns, as well as long-term outcomes.

A Study to Assess Disease Activity and Adverse Events of Intravenous (IV) Telisotuzumab Vedotin Compared to IV Docetaxel in Adult Participants With Previously Treated Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

Cancer is a condition where cells in a specific part of body grow and reproduce uncontrollably. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a solid tumor, a disease in which cancer cells form in the tissues of the lung. The purpose of this study is to determine if telisotuzumab vedotin works better than docetaxel and to assess how safe telisotuzumab vedotin is in adult participants with NSCLC who have previously been treated. Change in disease activity and adverse events will be assessed. Telisotuzumab vedotin is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of NSCLC. Participants will be randomly assigned a treatment of Teliso-V or Docetax at an 1:1 ratio. Each group receives intravenous (IV) infusion of telisotuzumab vedotin or IV infusion of docetaxel. Approximately 698 adult participants with c-Met overexpressing NSCLC will be enrolled in the study in approximately 250 sites worldwide. Participants will receive IV telisotuzumab vedotin every 2 weeks or docetaxel every 3 weeks until meeting study drug discontinuation criteria. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
