The purpose of this study is to determine whether early intervention with subcutaneous (s.c.) secukinumab 300 mg in patients with new-onset moderate to severe plaque psoriasis may lead to prolonged symptom-free periods by preventing reactivation of old lesions or ultimately totally hindering the occurrence of new lesions, i.e., changing the natural course of the disease (Main Study).
D²EFT is a randomised, open-label study in HIV-1 infected patients failing first-line antiretroviral therapy (ART). The study compares 2 regimens of second-line ART (dolutegravir and darunavir pharmaco-enhanced with ritonavir and dolutegravir and 2 prespecified NRTIs) with the WHO recommended regimen of 2NRTIs plus a ritonavir-boosted PI (Standard of Care (SOC)). 1,010 participants from 14 predominantly low-middle income countries will be followed for 96 weeks with the primary endpoint at week 48. The design is based on the hypothesis that one or both of the new regimens will be non-inferior to SOC in terms of virologic control while being easier to take, economically viable and affording simplification of treatment programs.

This is a Phase IIa/b double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized, parallel group, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of RO7123520 as adjunctive therapy in participants with RA who are inadequately responding to standard-of-care (methotrexate and anti-TNF-alpha therapy). Part 1 of the study will evaluate safety. Part 2 will evaluate efficacy and safety. Part 3 will evaluate dose-ranging efficacy. Participants will have the option of continuing to the extension period of the study.
A randomized withdrawal study in which responders to open-label treatment with tofacitinib will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to tofacitinib or placebo in a double-blind phase. In the double-blind phase "time to sJIA flare" will be evaluated as primary endpoint and subjects will be discontinued once they experience sJIA flare. An interim analysis for efficacy and futility will be conducted when at least 20 flares have been observed. If either criterion is met, the study will be stopped. If neither criterion is met, the study will continue until the requisite number of flares are observed as determined by the number of flares included in the interim analysis and a statistical penalty for conducting the interim analysis.
The aim of the current study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of nintedanib over 52 weeks in patients with Progressive Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Disease (PF-ILD) defined as patients who present with features of diffuse fibrosing lung disease of >10% extent on high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) and whose lung function and respiratory symptoms or chest imaging have worsened despite treatment with unapproved medications used in clinical practice to treat ILD. There is currently no efficacious treatment available for PF-ILD. Based on its efficacy and safety in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), it is anticipated that Nintedanib will be a new treatment option for patients with PF-ILD.
The purpose of this study is to determine if a slow stepwise propofol TCI induction with Marsh model (Ke0 0.26), allows for an accurate estimation of the effect site concentration required for maintenance of the general anesthesia, with propofol and remifentanil, in adult populations older and younger than 65 years of age.
