The proposed study is a post marketing, observational, retrospective data collection intended to gather and record data on patients treated with the ColonRing™ device in routine clinical practice at a single center. The data will assist in further evaluating the performance of the ColonRing™ device in regards to the creation of a colorectal anastomosis. Hypothesis:The performance of the ColonRing™, determined by the rate of complications, will be within the acceptable range reported in the literature for alternative treatment modalities.

Dendritic Cell Vaccination for Patients With Solid Tumors

The aim of this study is to evaluate the immunogenicity and clinical efficacy of intradermal vaccination with autologous RNA-modified dendritic cells (DCs) - engineered to express the WT1 protein - in patients with limited spread metastatic solid tumors, i.e. breast cancers, glioblastoma grade IV, sarcomas, malignant mesothelioma and colorectal tumors. Based on the results of our previously performed phase I study with autologous WT1 mRNA-transfected DC, the investigators hypothesize that the vaccination with DC will be well-tolerated and will result in an increase in WT1-specific CD8+ T cell responses.

First Line Treatment of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer With mFOLFOX6 in Combination With Regorafenib

This is a study to evaluate the efficacy (effectiveness) and the safety of regorafenib when given in combination with chemotherapy mFOLFOX6 as first line therapy in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC). mFOLFOX6 is an approved chemotherapy. Regorafenib is an oral (i.e. taken by mouth) multi-targeted kinase inhibitor. A kinase inhibitor targets certain key proteins that are essential for the survival of the cancer cell. By specifically targeting these proteins, regorafenib may stop cancer growth. The growth of the tumor may be decreased by preventing these specific proteins from functioning. The primary endpoint (the most meaningful result to be tracked) of this study is based on the rate of response, i.e. the disease getting smaller. The aim is to show that the therapy of colorectal cancer with mFOLFOX6 in combination with regorafenib improves the response rate observed for the standard therapy only.

A Physician-Based Trial to Increase Colorectal Cancer Screening in Chinese

The objective of this study is to test whether a culturally-tailored in-office based intervention have impact on increasing Chinese physician's recommendation of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening to their nonadherent Chinese patients. Special aims are to: 1. Evaluate the efficacy of a culturally-tailored physician intervention on increasing non-adherent Chinese American's patients' CRC screening rate. 2. Identify factors that mediate or moderate the intervention effects. For example, patients who hold an eastern cultural view or are less acculturated will be more likely to benefit from the intervention than patients who hold a western view or who are more acculturated.
