Filter by:This study plans to learn more about the combination of AMG 386 and docetaxel for the treatment of advanced urothelial cancer. Subjects are being asked to be in this research study because they have advanced urothelial cancer which has progressed after treatment with a platinum-based therapy. The hypothesis is that AMG 386 will increase the historical response rate of docetaxel as a single agent.
The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of transarterial chemoembolization with adriamycin to transarterial chemoembolization with adriamycin/transarterial chemoinfusion with cisplatin combination in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein invasion.
The purpose of this study is to determine if low-dose radiation therapy and the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel is effective in treating head and neck cancer that has returned after treatment with standard radiation therapy alone, but cannot be removed by surgery. The overall total dose received of both the chemotherapy and radiation therapy will be less than that typically given as standard of care; however, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not evaluated the safety and effectiveness of this combination therapy. In addition, this study will gather information about the effects of radiation therapy and chemotherapy on subject's overall quality of life.
This is a research study of a radiation treatment called stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) plus a medicine called sorafenib. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of SBRT plus Sorafenib to see what effects (good and bad) it has on the treatment of liver cancer.
This pilot clinical trial studies magnetic resonance thermal image guided laser interstitial thermal therapy in treating patients with breast cancer. Magnetic resonance thermal image guided laser interstitial thermal therapy may be able to kill tumor cells by heating up the tumor cells without affecting the surrounding tissue
This is a post marketing surveillance which determines the safety profile of the product to Filipinos. This is a FDA requirement for registration.
Study WX-20-002 will confirm diagnostic efficacy and safety of a PET/CT scan using Iodine (124I) Girentuximab performed during the diagnostic work-up in patients with indeterminate cT1-renal masses.

The purpose of his study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Sorafenib versus placebo in subjects with locally advanced medullary thyroid cancer (MTC). The primary study objective is to compare the Progression-free Survival (PFS) of the Sorafenib treatment group with the placebo treatment group in patients with advanced MTC.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether a relationship exists between a previously established diagnosis of endometriosis and the consecutive risk of developing a clear cell or endometrioid ovarian carcinoma. All histopathological records since 1980 with these diagnoses (endometriosis, clear cell and endometrioid ovarian carcinoma) will be reviewed. Cancer registry data will be assessed to investigate differences in survival of women with endometriosis-associated ovarian carcinomas and those ovarian carcinoma patients without previous diagnosis of endometriosis.
