NCT ID: NCT01907308 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Urothelial Carcinoma

Trebananib (AMG 386) in Combination With Docetaxel for Advanced Urothelial Carcinoma

Start date: February 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study plans to learn more about the combination of AMG 386 and docetaxel for the treatment of advanced urothelial cancer. Subjects are being asked to be in this research study because they have advanced urothelial cancer which has progressed after treatment with a platinum-based therapy. The hypothesis is that AMG 386 will increase the historical response rate of docetaxel as a single agent.

NCT ID: NCT01857726 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Comparison of TACE Versus TACE/TACI Combination in Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma With Portal Vein Invasion

Start date: July 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of transarterial chemoembolization with adriamycin to transarterial chemoembolization with adriamycin/transarterial chemoinfusion with cisplatin combination in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein invasion.

NCT ID: NCT01820312 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck

A Phase II Study to Evaluate Low-Dose Fractionated Radiotherapy (LDFRT)

Start date: January 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine if low-dose radiation therapy and the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel is effective in treating head and neck cancer that has returned after treatment with standard radiation therapy alone, but cannot be removed by surgery. The overall total dose received of both the chemotherapy and radiation therapy will be less than that typically given as standard of care; however, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not evaluated the safety and effectiveness of this combination therapy. In addition, this study will gather information about the effects of radiation therapy and chemotherapy on subject's overall quality of life.

NCT ID: NCT01801163 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

A Phase Ib Study of Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) Plus Sorafenib in Patients With Unresectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)

Start date: February 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a research study of a radiation treatment called stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) plus a medicine called sorafenib. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of SBRT plus Sorafenib to see what effects (good and bad) it has on the treatment of liver cancer.

NCT ID: NCT01791998 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Stage IB Breast Cancer

Magnetic Resonance Thermal Image Guided Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy in Treating Patients With Breast Cancer

Start date: August 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies magnetic resonance thermal image guided laser interstitial thermal therapy in treating patients with breast cancer. Magnetic resonance thermal image guided laser interstitial thermal therapy may be able to kill tumor cells by heating up the tumor cells without affecting the surrounding tissue

NCT ID: NCT01781442 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

A Post Marketing Surveillance As Required By Philippine Food And Drug Administration

Start date: June 2013
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Observational

This is a post marketing surveillance which determines the safety profile of the product to Filipinos. This is a FDA requirement for registration.

NCT ID: NCT01762592 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

REDECT 2: REnal Masses: Pivotal Trial to DEteCT Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma With PET/CT

Start date: December 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Study WX-20-002 will confirm diagnostic efficacy and safety of a PET/CT scan using Iodine (124I) Girentuximab performed during the diagnostic work-up in patients with indeterminate cT1-renal masses.

NCT ID: NCT01744639 Withdrawn - Liver Carcinoma Clinical Trials

Analysis of Body Composition in Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Radioablation

Start date: December 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Number of shows: 20 patients Track: A month with three visiting Intervention: Nutritional assessment including anthropometry, bioelectrical impedance, biochemical tests, Psychometric Hepatic Encephalopathy Score and Critical Flicker Frequency.

NCT ID: NCT01736878 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma

Efficacy and Safety Study of Sorafenib to Treat Advanced Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma

SUMMIT
Start date: October 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of his study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Sorafenib versus placebo in subjects with locally advanced medullary thyroid cancer (MTC). The primary study objective is to compare the Progression-free Survival (PFS) of the Sorafenib treatment group with the placebo treatment group in patients with advanced MTC.

NCT ID: NCT01732432 Withdrawn - Endometriosis Clinical Trials

Endometriosis and Frequency of Endometriosis-associated Ovarian Carcinomas (EAOC)

EAOC
Start date: October 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a relationship exists between a previously established diagnosis of endometriosis and the consecutive risk of developing a clear cell or endometrioid ovarian carcinoma. All histopathological records since 1980 with these diagnoses (endometriosis, clear cell and endometrioid ovarian carcinoma) will be reviewed. Cancer registry data will be assessed to investigate differences in survival of women with endometriosis-associated ovarian carcinomas and those ovarian carcinoma patients without previous diagnosis of endometriosis.
