Start date: December 2, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective clinical study aiming to tests the safety and efficacy of lenvatinib in combination with gefitinib in people with lenvatinib resistant hepatocellular carcinoma. This study will help find out if lenvatinib and gefitinib is a safe and useful combination for treating patients with lenvatinib resistant hepatocellular carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT04641637 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Substudy: Interconnection of Arterial Tumor Feeders Through Tumor Sinusoid in HCC

Start date: June 30, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

It is postulated that all arterial tumor feeders supplying a HCC tumor are interconnected with each other through the tumor sinusoid, such that when one of the feeders is catheterized for delivery of a liquid embolic agent, the whole tumor sinusoid will be embolized, if the arterial blood flow in all the other feeders are stopped temporarily to create a negative pressure gradient.

NCT ID: NCT04637204 Completed - Clinical trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Real-world Treatment Patterns and Outcomes Among aRCC Patients on Cabozantinib or Axitinib in England

Start date: November 24, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The present study will aim to describe and understand, in the real-world, the clinical characteristics, treatment patterns and outcomes of advanced renal cell carcinoma (aRCC) patients treated with cabozantinib or axitinib monotherapy in England using the existing data source, Cancer Analysis System (CAS).

NCT ID: NCT04636632 Completed - Clinical trials for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Fosaprepitant for the Prevention of Nausea and Emesis During Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

Start date: November 24, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is an opene-label, single center, randomized prospective pilot study to compare the efficacy of weekly versus triweekly fosaprepitant regimens for the prevention of nausea and emesis during concurrent chemoradiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).

NCT ID: NCT04633278 Completed - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of Head and Neck

CMP-001 in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Subjects With Recurrent or Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: January 21, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

CMP-001-007 is a Phase 2 study of CMP-001 intratumoral (IT) and pembrolizumab intravenous (IV) administered to participants with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) who have not been previously treated with a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) blocking antibody. The primary objective of the study is to determine the Investigator-assessed confirmed objective response with CMP-001 in combination with pembrolizumab in subjects with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) The secondary objectives are to: - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of CMP-001 administered by intratumoral (IT) injection in combination with pembrolizumab in subjects with HNSCC - To evaluate the efficacy of CMP-001 in combination with pembrolizumab in subjects with HNSCC - To evaluate the effect of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expressions on the efficacy of CMP-001 in combination with pembrolizumab Participants will continue to receive treatment of CMP-001 and pembrolizumab according to the treatment schedule until a reason for treatment discontinuation is reached.

NCT ID: NCT04627012 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Lenvatinib Combined Anti-PD1 Antibody for the Advanced Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

For the advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the targeted therapy and immunotherapy are recommended. This study focused on the management of Lenvatinib combined anti-PD1 antibody for the HCC. This study will create a database that will provide clinical parameters and outcomes of patients undergoing Lenvatinib and anti-PD1 antibody as part of their standard of care in hopes of answering key clinical questions.

NCT ID: NCT04626466 Completed - Radiotherapy Clinical Trials

Effect of Irradiation Doses < 10 Gy and of Irradiated Bone Volume on the Variation of Blood Elements of the Complete Blood Count During and After Pelvic Irradiation

MIFADORESOL
Start date: August 3, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Bone marrow is one of the organs at risk of complications during irradiation due to its radiosensitivity. Hematopoietic toxicity remains one of the main toxicities during irradiation of pelvic lymph node areas, especially when concomitant chemotherapy is used, volume of bone marrow irradiated is large and dose to the bone marrow is high. There is a lack of prospective studies and comparative trials to customize the constraints according to the presence or absence of chemotherapy and correlated to the patient's bone marrow potential. This multicentric and prospective study conducted by Strasbourg Europe Cancerology Institute aims to evaluate hematological toxicity (anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia) in patients treated with pelvic irradiation for prostate, rectum, anal canal, endometrium, cervix cancer or vaginal cancer. One hundred patients will be included in the study, including patients treated with exclusive radiotherapy, radiochemotherapy, or radiohormonal therapy. The primary objective is to quantify the relationship between acute hematological toxicity and delivered doses and irradiated volumes in pelvic bone marrow for pelvic cancers. Hematological toxicity will be measured by weekly blood count during radiotherapy and at one month and three months after the end of radiotherapy. Secondary endpoints are the evaluation of viral, bacterial and fungal infections during and for three months following radiotherapy, as well as the evaluation of the impact of radiation-induced hematological toxicity on the administration of chemotherapy for the concerned patients. The aim of this study is to improve and optimize radiotherapy if a dose limit or volume constraint is imposed by the results of the study.

NCT ID: NCT04618367 Completed - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Hepatocellular

NCT ID: NCT04606940 Completed - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Cancer

Study of Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA) Kinetics in Immuno-oncology (IO-KIN)

Start date: October 19, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to study the kinetics of ctDNA levels after the first dose of immune checkpoint inhibitor in patients with recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer. This is an important study to understand the optimal timing for ctDNA quantitation for future studies in immunotherapy, though further validation would be needed in other tumor types. It may help standardize the most relevant blood collection time points so that patients will not be subjected to multiple blood draws at random time points in future liquid biopsy trials.
