Nausea and vomiting (feeling sick to your stomach and throwing up) are two of the most common unpleasant side effects of chemotherapy agents (drugs specifically used to treat cancer) that will be used for cancer treatment. If nausea and vomiting are not controlled, they could lead to dehydration, poor nutrition and a longer time in the hospital. Nausea and vomiting usually occur in response to conditions that affect the gut and the vomiting center, which is an area in the brain. Netupitant and palonosetron are drugs that are thought to block the activation of certain types of chemicals in these areas (brain and gut) and, therefore, to prevent or reduce the severity of nausea and vomiting. Nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy is classified into two patterns based on the time of onset or start. Acute nausea and vomiting start within 24 hours of chemotherapy administration. Delayed nausea and vomiting starts approximately 2-5 days after chemotherapy administration. Regardless of when the nausea and vomiting start, these symptoms are usually treated with not just one drug, but a combination of drugs. In this study you will receive the study drug, which is a fixed combination of netupitant and palonosetron. This is an open label single arm study. The main purpose of this study or clinical trial is to learn more about the effect (how well it works) of the fixed combination of netupitant and palonosetron (NEPA) in preventing nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy in Hong Kong oncology patients receiving (neo)-adjuvant chemotherapy treatment consists of adriamycin and cyclophosphamide for breast cancer.

Vaccine to Prevent Recurrence in Patients With HER-2 Positive Breast Cancer

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety of each study vaccine and to evaluate the effect on the time to disease recurrence (assessed by disease free survival). Participants will be assigned to receive one of two study vaccines (DC1 study vaccine vs. WOKVAC). The study vaccine will be administered in two phases: a study vaccination phase and a booster phase.

Capecitabine 7/7 Schedule With Neratinib in Patients With Metastatic HER2-Positive Breast Cancer

This is a phase l/II study. The purpose of this study is to test the safety of the study drug neratinib in combination with a standard chemotherapy drug called capecitabine at different doses to find out what effects, if any, it has on people. Capecitabine (Xeloda®) is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for advanced breast cancer treatment. Neratinib is an investigational drug, meaning the FDA has not approved the use of this drug for advanced breast cancer. The combination of capecitabine and neratinib has been studied before in another study where capecitabine was administered using the standard dosing schedule. In this study, the investigators want to find out if a different dosing schedule of capecitabine combined with neratinib is safer. This different dosing schedule is experimental, meaning the administration schedule of capecitabine and neratinib is not FDA approved for treatment for HER2 positive advanced breast cancer.

Breast Cancer Study of Preoperative Pembrolizumab + Radiation

This study is being done to assess the feasibility of pembrolizumab (study drug) combined with standard radiation to the tumor (tumor boost) before patients undergo standard treatment that can consist of one or more of the following: breast-conserving surgery, radiation to the entire breast/chest wall after surgery, and chemotherapy. Study participants will receive two doses of the study drug intravenously (through the vein) before their planned breast surgery or chemotherapy. The study drug will be administered three weeks apart. At the time of the second dose, radiation to the tumor in the affected breast will be given. This type of radiation treatment is called a "tumor boost", which is a standard part of radiation therapy for breast cancer that may occur either before or after planned breast-conserving surgery. Patients will receive breast surgery or begin chemotherapy approximately six weeks after your first dose of the study drug.
