Treatment of Metastatic Breast Cancer With Fulvestrant Plus Palbociclib or Tamoxifen Plus Palbociclib

Start date: April 24, 2018
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To assess longitudinal changes in allele frequency of ESR1 mutation in plasma in patients treated with Fulvestrant plus palbociclib compared to tamoxifen plus palbociclib

NCT ID: NCT02912312 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Invasive Breast Carcinoma

Hypofractionated vs. Conventional Regional Nodal Radiation Therapy for Patients With Invasive Breast Cancer

Start date: February 23, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To compare how often cancer recurs (comes back) after 3 weeks of radiation compared to 5 weeks of radiation in patients who receive radiation therapy delivered to the lymph nodes near the breast. The side effects that can develop during or after radiation treatment, including how often arm swelling (edema) happens, will also be studied.

NCT ID: NCT02910219 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Diarrhea Prevention and Prophylaxis With Crofelemer in HER2 Positive Breast Cancer Patients

HALT-D
Start date: January 31, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Chemotherapy induced diarrhea is seen in up to 40-80% of patients receiving this treatment for HER2 positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. This diarrhea can significantly impact a patient's quality of life and ability to tolerate chemo/anti-HER2 therapy. This study will look at the efficacy of the drug crofelemer in preventing diarrhea in breast cancer patients.

BETTER
Start date: January 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of bicalutamide and aromatase inhibitor in ER(+)/AR(+)/HER2(-) metastatic breast cancer patients who have disease progression after treatment of an aromatase inhibitor.

NCT ID: NCT02909751 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Tocotrienol in Combination With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Women With Breast Cancer

NeoToc
Start date: September 14, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether tocotrienol can improve the effect and reduce the side effects of standard chemotherapy before operation for breast cancer.

The Study on the Clinical Utility of Liquid Biopsy in Breast Cancer

Start date: June 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Through this prospective clinical trial, the investigators will focus on the relationship between circulating tumor biomarkers (i.e. circulating tumor cells, circulating tumor DNA and other biomarkers) and the status of primary tumor to discuss its application for assessing prognosis and individualized therapeutic direction. Moreover, the relationship between the circulating tumor cell subpopulations based on epithelial-mesenchymal transition and molecular pathological classification of breast cancer will be determined, which may enable the determination of the value of its application in therapeutic decision making.
