NCT ID: NCT05030519 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of Diarrhea and Intestinal Flora Changes Caused by Pyrotinib in Breast Cancer

Start date: January 18, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

By measuring the intestinal flora abundance and bacterial count of patients in the early stage of using pyrotinib to clarify the relationship between diarrhea caused by pyrotinib and changes in intestinal flora in breast cancer patients, the correlation between the change of intestinal flora and the relief of diarrhea are also explored after two-cycle treatment.

NCT ID: NCT05029999 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Breast Cancer

CD40 Agonist, Flt3 Ligand, and Chemotherapy in HER2 Negative Breast Cancer

Start date: April 20, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This research study is being done to find out if the immunotherapy drugs called CDX-301 and CDX-1140 in combination with the standard chemotherapy treatment pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD, Doxil) are safe and effective at controlling the cancer in patients with metastatic triple Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) negative breast cancer, and to determine a safe dose and treatment schedule of the three drugs. This research study will also test how your immune system responds to these treatments alone and in combination.

NCT ID: NCT05027321 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Neoplasm Female

Efficacy of Preparation in Self-Hypnosis by Anchoring Versus Conversational Hypnosis, Used Alone or Combined, in Patients Undergoing Breast Macrobiopsies

Start date: October 11, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The incidence of breast cancer and its mortality are reduced thanks in particular to early detection. Often performed after a screening test, stereotactic macrobiopsies are used to characterize abnormalities detected on mammography. This anxiety-inducing and painful examination leads to significant physiological and psychological modifications for these women who logically apprehend the realization of this act. Faced with this observation, investigators wondered what could be done to improve the experience of the patients during this examination. Investigators were interested in hypnosis because its effectiveness as a complementary practice has been validated by numerous studies with benefits on pain and stress management. However, today, there are no convincing results confirming which hypnosis method would be the best to manage patients' anxiety and pain during this examination.

NCT ID: NCT05025748 Completed - Clinical trials for Stage IV Breast Cancer

Ask Questions (ASQ):Implementation of a Communication Intervention

Start date: August 25, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial implements a communication intervention to improve patient-oncologist communication in the outpatient medical oncology setting. A communication brochure called the ASQ brochure may help patients prepare for the doctor visit by thinking through the questions that patients and patients' family want to ask the doctor.

NCT ID: NCT05025735 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Breast Cancer

Alpelisib, Fulvestrant and Dapagliflozin for the Treatment of HR+, HER2 -, PIK3CA Mutant Metastatic Breast Cancer

Start date: August 25, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This will be a single arm, open label pilot to test the combination of dapagliflozin, a commercially available SGLT-2 inhibitor, in combination with alpelisib + fulvestrant in patients with HR+/HER2- mBC. The objective of this study is to determine if the addition of dapagliflozin to the combination of alpelisib and fulvestrant leads to significant reduction in all-grade hyperglycemia.

NCT ID: NCT05025059 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Anatomic Stage III Breast Cancer AJCC v8

Exercise During Chemotherapy in Older Women With Stage I-III Breast Cancer

Start date: December 3, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial evaluates the feasibility of exercise during chemotherapy in older women with stage I-III breast cancer. Previous studies have reported that exercise may reduce the chemotherapy-toxicity risk. This trial may help researchers learn if engaging in a physical activity program is feasible in patients receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05024591 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Artificial Intelligence for breaST canceR scrEening in mAMmography (AI-STREAM)

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This prospective study aims to generate real-world evidence on the overall benefits and disadvantages of using Lunit INSIGHT MMG AI based CADe/x for breast cancer detection in a population-based breast cancer screening program in Korea.

NCT ID: NCT05023967 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Anatomic Stage II Breast Cancer AJCC v8

Metformin and Nightly Fasting in Women With Early Breast Cancer

Start date: April 4, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase IIb trial studies the combined effect of prolonged nightly fasting and metformin hydrochloride extended release in decreasing breast tumor cell proliferation and other biomarkers of breast cancer. Preventing invasive breast cancer or DCIS. Metformin is widely used to treat type II diabetes and is associated with a decreased risk of cancer and death in diabetic individuals. Intermittent fasting may protect cancer patients from the toxic effects of chemotherapy agents without causing chronic weight loss. The combination of intermittent fasting and metformin may reduce breast cancer growth and may be used in women at risk for breast cancer or other cancers associated with being overweight.

NCT ID: NCT05022823 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema

Exercise and Compression for Lymphedema

DREAM
Start date: June 29, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate the benefit of combining resistance exercise with use of a compression sleeve on arm lymphedema. In the study, participants will be taught a resistance exercise that follows the decongestive exercise sequence. This program is called "decongestive progressive resistance exercise" (DPRE). To evaluate the benefit from use of a compression garment on the arm. Some participants will wear their usual compression sleeve during exercise and others will use an adjustable compression wrap. The investigators hope to see if this type of combined program is helpful for women with lymphedema. The investigators also want to see if there are benefits from the addition of use of an adjustable compression wrap during exercise over use of a regularly prescribed compression sleeve.
