Women on Breast Cancer Health Belıefs and Screenıng Behavıors

Start date: August 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Method: It was conducted in a randomized controlled experimental type. The population of the study consisted of 2426 women over the age of 20 living in a family health center in Erzurum between October 2021 and September 2022. The sample of the study consisted of 252 women with 0.05 margin of error and 95% confidence level, according to the sample size calculation formula used in cases where the universe is known. Within the framework of the exclusion criteria of the study, 52 women were excluded from the study and 200 women were included in the randomization.

NCT ID: NCT05677308 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

LYNPARZA Breast Cancer in the Adjuvant Setting Japan Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS)

Evaluation of the Interest of a Postural and Functional Analysis for the Follow-up of the Adapted Motor Activity of Patients Treated for Breast Cancer

APECS
Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the acceptability by patients treated for breast cancer of an adapted motor activity program over a period of 15 months controlled by a postural and functional analysis.. Participant population/health conditions: patients with newly operated breast cancer who are candidates for an adapted physical activity program

NCT ID: NCT05676866 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Node-positive Breast Cancer

Evaluation of Targeted Axillary Lymph Node Dissection in Node Positive Breast Cancer Patients Post Neo Adjuvant Therapy

Start date: December 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

evaluation of targeted axillary lymph node dissection in node positive breast cancer patients post neo adjuvant therapy

NCT ID: NCT05676255 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Female

The Breast Cancer Survivors and Partners Online Research Together (SUPORT) Project

Start date: March 20, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Many breast cancer survivors (estimated 70% in some studies) experience clinically significant depression and/or anxiety in the months and years after finishing cancer treatments. This research will build on the rigor of prior research to reduce breast cancer survivor depression and anxiety with a compassion meditation intervention called CBCT (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) for online synchronous delivery that is also inclusive of informal caregivers (i.e., adult family members who live with and typically provide half the care for survivors, aka supportive partners).

NCT ID: NCT05675579 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Phase II Study of Neoadjuvant Sacituzumab Govitecan and Pembrolizumab Therapy for Immunochemotherapy-resistant Early-stage Triple-negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)

Start date: May 23, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To learn if sacituzumab govitecan and pembrolizumab, when given before surgery, can help to control early-stage triple negative breast cancer that has not responded well to other treatments.

NCT ID: NCT05675085 Active, not recruiting - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Risk-Based Breast Screening in Young Women

RIBBS
Start date: January 20, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The RIBBS study is a single-arm single-center study that aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a risk-based breast screening model using digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) as the baseline test, quantitative individual breast density to guide supplemental ultrasound (US) imaging for dense breasts, and individual risk (calculated taking into account breast density) to guide the screening interval (annual or biennial). Invited 45-year-old women are differentiated into five different screening protocols (based on breast density and risk), and screened according to a personalized model until they turn 50 and return to routine screening. The only primary endpoint in this study is the cumulative incidence of advanced breast cancers (stage II and above). This endpoint will be evaluated at the end of the five-year intervention period and at 10 years. The results of the personalized screening model will be compared with those obtained from an observational cohort from a neighboring region in which a "one-size-fits-all" approach involving annual mammography for women aged 45-49 years is used. The comparison will be conducted with the hypothesis of superiority of the personalized screening model.

NCT ID: NCT05674578 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Anatomic Stage III Breast Cancer AJCC v8

Health Coaching-Based Navigation at the Conclusion of Treatment for the Support of Black Breast Cancer Survivors

Start date: November 14, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial evaluates the feasibility of coaching-based navigation for black breast cancer survivors including recruitment, dropout, and survey completion rates. A coaching-based navigation may perform a needs assessment and coach the participant to access relevant supportive content including physical rehabilitation, emotional and psychosocial support, and nutrition and exercise programming. This trial aims to see whether this navigation program may improve the quality of life of black breast cancer survivors.

NCT ID: NCT05673850 Completed - Breast Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Association Between HER2 Status and pCR Rate in ER-positive Breast Cancer Receiving Neoadjuvant Endocrine or Chemotherapy

Start date: May 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer (BC), human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-low ones are reported to have distinct clinical and molecular features from those with HER2-zero or HER2-positive status. However, the association between HER2-low status with response to endocrine therapy is largely unknown. In this study, we included 518 ER-positive BC patients who received either neoadjuvant endocrine therapy (NET) or neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT). The pathologic complete response rate (pCR) of HER2-low and HER2-zero tumors re-sponding to neoadjuvant therapies were compared. The difference in disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) between the two groups was also analyzed. The pCR (defined as ypT0/isNx) in HER2-low BCs and in HER2-zero BCs for NET cohort and NCT cohort were compared.
