Filter by:This will be a cross sectional, pilot study to determine the burden of EBV related lymphomas in this population. Patient information including demographics and HIV status, history of HIV infection, HIV viral load and CD4 counts and ART history will be retrieved from the integrated patient management system (IPMS) Lymph node excision biopsy samples, collected at NHL between 2012 and 2017, from the patient with a diagnosis of lymphoma will be retrieved using IPMS from National Health Laboratory and analyzed by immunohistochemistry.
To Evaluate the Tolerability and Pharmacokinetics of LW231 Tablets in Single-center, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Multiple-dose, Single-dose, Multiple-dose Phase Ia Clinical Trials in Healthy Subjects .
The study will collect the information on clinical effects and safety of the basic therapy of acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) + Cycloferone® and basic therapy of ARVI1 + Arbidol® in real-life clinical settings.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of mRNA-1345 in children aged 2 to <5 years of age and in children at high risk of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) disease 5 to <18 years of age to inform the dose level selection for the next phase of development (Phase 3).
The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of mRNA-1345 RSV vaccine when coadministered with a high dose (HD) quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccine (Fluzone HD) in adults ≥65 years of age. The study will examine the impact of Fluzone HD on the immune response to mRNA-1345 against RSV-A and RSV-B, as well as the impact of mRNA-1345 on the immune response to Fluzone HD against 4 vaccine-matched Influenza A and B strains.
The study is a multi-center, multi-national, prospective surveillance study in which the study participants will not receive a study vaccine but will provide a baseline blood sample and be followed for acute respiratory disease during 6 months. The 6-month follow-up will occur for the most part during the Respiratory Syncytial Virus(RSV) season (based on enrollment timing and as per feasibility). A maximum of 1000 children from 6 to < 22 months of age are planned to be enrolled in 5 to 10 countries, 1 to 2 sites per country, targeting approximately 100 participants per country. The purpose of the study is to assess the seroprevalence and incidence of RSV disease during the study period in the targeted countries and sites for a Phase III vaccine study.
Primary endpoints - Incidence of symptomatic and asymptomatic infection with SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory viruses as determined by molecular (e.g. PCR) and serological testing - Associations between the magnitude and quality of mucosal and serum antibody responses to SARSCoV- 2 and protection from infection with SARS-CoV-2 - Associations between the magnitude and quality of T cell responses to SARS-CoV-2 and protection from infection with SARS-CoV-2 Secondary endpoints - Secondary attack rate and household cumulative infection rate with SARS-CoV-2, influenza, RSV, and other respiratory viruses - Seroincidence and seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 a determined by binding antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 spike and nucleocapsid - Presence of risk factors for symptomatic and asymptomatic infection with respiratory viruses - Antibody and T cell kinetics of SARS-CoV-2 following infection - Associations between the magnitude and quality of antibody and T cell responses to seasonal coronaviruses and protection from infection with SARS-CoV-2 - Associations between infection with non-SARS-CoV-2 respiratory viruses and protection from infection with SARS-CoV-2 - Associations between upregulation of gene expression in the mucosa, including interferon stimulated genes (ISGs), and protection from infection with SARS-CoV-2
This Phase 2, randomized, observer-blind clinical study is evaluating 3 different priming and booster regimens with MF59-adjuvanted H5N8 and/or H5N6 cell culture-derived influenza vaccine (aH5N8c; aH5N6c). Approximately 480 healthy adult subjects are to be randomized into 1 of 3 possible treatment groups, stratified by age group (18-64 years and ≥65 years) and by poultry worker status (yes/no). Each subject will receive a priming influenza vaccine injection on Day 1 and Day 22 and a booster vaccination on Day 202. Subjects will be followed up for approximately 6 months after the booster injection. The primary immunogenicity analysis is based on antibody responses against H5N8 and H5N6 as measured by hemagglutination inhibition (HI) assay on Day 1, Day 22, Day 29, Day 43, Day 202, Day 209 (H5N8 only), and Day 223.
A Phase 2, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial to Evaluate Safety, Tolerability, and Immune Responses of an Investigational Monovalent Chimpanzee Adenoviral-Vectored Marburg Virus Vaccine in Healthy Adults
The goal of this observational study is to learn about the influence of pre-existing mucosal immunity, i.e. antibodies and immune cells that are present at the nasal mucosa before infection, on the infectious viral load after infection with SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus and RSV. The investigators will include app. 320 participants which will be followed for up to 17 months. During this time, the investigators will monitor their nasal mucosal antibodies at regular intervals and compare them to their infectious viral load if they are infected with SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus or RSV. Participants are invited to take a test for SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus or RSV in case of respiratory symptoms. If participants are positive the investigators will follow their viral load kinetics by taking nasopharyngeal swabs every 2-3 days. The investigators will also record the duration and strength of the following symptoms: - Cough - Fever - Tired - Sore throat - Difficulty breathing - Respiratory distress - Headache - Loss (or alteration) of smell - Loss (or alteration) of sense of taste - Myalgias - Chills - Subjective fever - Pink sputum (or coughing up blood) - Thoracic pain - Runny nose - Abdominal pain - Nausea - Vomiting - Diarrhea - Constipation - Irritated or watery eyes - Rashes - Other
