Clinical Evaluation of RTX Locator Attachments for Implant-supported Mandibular Complete Overdenture

Start date: January 15, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study was conducted to clinically and radiographically evaluate locator RTx attachments for two implant-supported mandibular overdenture using two loading protocols

NCT ID: NCT02703480 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Vertical Alveolar Bone Loss

Comparing the Efficacy and Morbidity of Two Vertical Ridge Augmentation Techniques

Start date: December 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The proposed study design is a randomized controlled trial, split mouth design, to compare the two different vertical augmentation procedures: Titanium mesh (Ti-mesh) technique and Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) technique with a high-density polytetrafluoroethylene (d-PTFE) membrane.

NCT ID: NCT01878084 Completed - Bone Loss Clinical Trials

Bioactive Glass (Sol-gel) for Alveolar Bone Regeneration After Surgical Extraction

Start date: October 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the present research is to evaluate the effect of bioactive glass in bone regeneration immediately following extraction of mandibular and maxillary premolars. The hypothesis of the study assumes that this treatment would promote the healing of the extraction socket while preserving both the height and width of the bone. Furthermore, it would allow more effective tooth movement during orthodontic treatment.
