NCT ID: NCT06268665 Not yet recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Tart Cherry Juice as a Dietary Supplement for the Prevention of Paclitaxel-Induced Neuropathy

Start date: February 28, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single institution phase II randomized study evaluating the potential benefits of a supplement, tart cherry juice at high- versus low-doses, to prevent taxane induced peripheral neuropathy in breast and ovarian cancer patients undergoing paclitaxel chemotherapy. Eligible participants enrolled onto the study will be block randomized in a 1:1 allocation to either the tart cherry juice high-dose group (Arm 1) or the tart cherry juice low-dose group (Arm 2).

NCT ID: NCT02540083 Terminated - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy and Performance of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Compared to Mammography

ADAPT-ENRICH
Start date: August 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this recruitment plan (ADAPT-Enrich) is to collect image and technical data on both digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and full-field digital mammography (FFDM), along with other subject data including histology results from biopsy specimen examination and cancer classification data from initially asymptomatic women referred for clinically indicated breast biopsy based on suspicious DBT screening breast imaging results. These data will be included in a subsequent and prospectively planned pooled analysis described in a separate protocol (ADAPT-BIE) examining superiority of DBT to FFDM for breast cancer diagnosis and other performance measures.

NCT ID: NCT02496065 Completed - Tumors, Breast Clinical Trials

Exploratory Study of Safety and ex Vivo Fluorescence of BLZ-100 in Adult Subjects With Solid Tumors Undergoing Surgery

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Surgery is the primary treatment modality for many types of cancer and the extent of surgical resection is directly related to patient survival. However, it is often difficult for surgeons to distinguish normal from neoplastic tissue or to detect metastatic disease or tumor-infiltrated lymph nodes. In some sites, surgical precision is also required to avoid damage to critical normal tissues. The purpose of this exploratory study is to evaluate the intra-operative and ex vivo fluorescence of BLZ-100 in tumor samples from subjects with breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02324205 Terminated - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy and Performance of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Compared to Mammography (ADAPT)

ADAPT
Start date: March 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this recruitment plan (ADAPT-BX) is to collect image and technical data on both digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and full-field digital mammography (FFDM), along with other subject data including histology results from biopsy specimen examination and cancer classification data from initially asymptomatic women referred for biopsy after recall from screening and diagnostic work-up. These data will be included in a subsequent and prospectively planned pooled analysis described in a separate protocol (ADAPT-BIE) examining superiority of DBT to FFDM for breast cancer diagnosis and other clinical performance measures.

NCT ID: NCT02306265 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy and Performance of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Compared to Mammography

ADAPT
Start date: May 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this recruitment plan (ADAPT-SCR) is to collect image and other data on both digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) and full-field digital mammography (FFDM) from asymptomatic women undergoing screening mammography.

NCT ID: NCT01498588 Terminated - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Trial of Eribulin Followed by Doxorubicin & Cyclophosphamide for Her2-negative, Locally Advanced Breast Cancer

Start date: November 2011
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Previous studies have shown that chemotherapy has the same effect on treating breast cancer whether you receive it before or after surgery. Receiving chemotherapy before surgery, rather than after surgery, may allow the patient to have less extensive surgery. The purpose of this study is to identify new treatment regimens with better response rates and to find out if the combination of eribulin followed by doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide can shrink the size of the patient's breast tumor and allow you to preserve your breast. Additionally, by receiving chemotherapy before surgery, the investigators will be able to determine if your cancer is responsive to chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT00732433 Completed - Tumors, Breast Clinical Trials

Digital Mammography: Computer-Aided Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Start date: June 2000
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to develop computer programs to assist radiologists in finding breast cancer on mammograms and to compare the computer's accuracy of detecting cancers on direct digital and film mammograms.
