NCT ID: NCT05180188 Completed - Cardiomyopathies Clinical Trials

Moderate Intensity Training in Patients With Truncating Genetic Variants in TTN.

Start date: February 14, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim is to investigate the effect of an 8-week moderate-intensity exercise program on aerobic fitness and cardiac contractility in patients with truncations of the sarcomeric protein titin.

NCT ID: NCT04459429 Completed - TTN Clinical Trials

Effect of Cannula Size on Oxygen Saturation During Nasal High Flow Therapy in Newborns

Start date: June 26, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Treatment with nasal high flow therapy (NHF) is an increasingly popular method of respiratory support in newborns. Safe and effective use of NHF requires selection of an appropriate nasal prong-to-nares ratio because leak can influence the delivered pressure. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to investigate the effect of using different NHF cannula size on peripheral oxygen saturation in newborns with respiratory distress.

NCT ID: NCT01517958 Completed - Clinical trials for Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Lung Ultrasound to Diagnose Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn (TTN) Versus Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) in Neonates

Start date: October 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The investigators hypothesize that ultrasonography of the newborn lung can be used as an effective diagnostic tool in neonates ≥ 28 weeks gestation with early symptoms of respiratory distress.
