The objective of the present study was to verify the impact of physical exercise at a distance (EFAD) on the level of mobility and quality of sleep of hypertensive elderly women. To this end, hypertensive elderly women under drug treatment aged between 60 and 79 years old age, without orthopedic limitations and/or cardiovascular complaints were assessed using questionnaires, functional tests, sleep scale classification and use of actigraphy for 7 days. Afterwards, they were randomized into 2 groups, control and EFAD, with synchronous training online 2x/week and by recorded class 1x/week. Reassessments were made after 10 weeks.
In the study, three videolaryngoscopes: UESCOPE VL 400 (Zhejiang UE Medical Corp. Zhejiang, China), I-View™ VL (Intersurgical Ltd, Wokingham, Berkshire, UK), Airtraq sp® (Prodol Meditec S.A, Vizcaya, Spain) were compared with the most widely used, classic Macintosh laryngoscope (HEINE Optotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Gilch-ing, Germany) under simulated out-of-hospital conditions by people without clinical experience on a manikin model (Laerdal Airway Management Trainer Stavanger Norway manikin of universal difficulty), while using an endotracheal tube without and with a stylet. Simulated out-of-hospital conditions were created by placing the manikin at floor level. A random selection of 30 students of the third year of Emergency Medicine, full-time first-degree program at the Medical University of Lodz, Poland, were enrolled in the study. The following were assessed: intubation efficiency, time to ventilation (primary endpoints); intubation effort, intubator comfort, tooth damage and visibility of the glottis according to the Cormack-Lehane scale (secondary endpoints).
Introduction:Breastfeeding and childhood vaccinations are the two most important public health practices for the healthy growth and development of the newborn. Aim:To investigate the effects of comprehensive training to be given to post-partum women who have just given birth in Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital, obstetrics and gynecology service, on their attitudes towards childhood vaccinations and breastfeeding. Method:This research is in the type of repetitive measurement experimental design with pre-test post-test control group. The sample consisted of 30 experimental and 30 control groups selected from the universe by computer-assisted randomization method. The experimental group was hospitalized on the first day after birth, on the 2nd-7th day. days and 30-42. The trainings will be given to the post-partum women individually. About 30 minutes of training will be given and their questions, if any, will be answered. Then, data collection tools will be applied when the babies are 2,4,6 months old (posttest). Conclusion:This study will enable the comprehensive education to be given to post-partum women who have just given birth in the hospital, to improve their attitudes towards childhood vaccines and to increase the breastfeeding rate.
The investigation will be conducted as a double blinded, randomized, parallel between treatment conditions comparison design with two different groups ingesting a different supplement each one.

The primary objective of study was to compare insertion ease by modified I-gel jaw thrust insertion technique and standard I-gel insertion technique on the basis of I-gel insertion attempts and I-gel insertion time duration. The secondary objective of study was to analyse the impact of prior information for airway device, insertion techniques, general or specific work experience in airway management with the ease of both study's insertion techniques. And, tertiary objective of study was to analyse the trainee's preference insertion technique at the basis of learning method and practical adaptability. The investigators postulate that there is a difference in the acquisition of Fundamental Laparoscopic Skills (FLS) between general surgical and Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) trainees. This discrepancy is also likely to influence the musculoskeletal and cognitive fatigue trainees experience within both specialties. Additionally there is likely to be a discrepancy in the expectations of consultants and trainees on skills perceived to be important at the completion of training (CCT). This study aims to compare and evaluate the discrepancy in FLS acquisition amongst O&G and GS trainees in order to identify areas for improvements in the training pathway, the associated fatigue experience and highlight the expectations perceived to be required at the completion of training.
