Filter by:An investigator-initiated, non-randomized, open label study to investigate the safety, feasibility and tolerability of intraglandular injection of allogeneic mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs) into the submandibular and parotid glands of the patients with radiation-induced hyposalivation and xerostomia after radiation for a oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma
In this study, researchers want to determine the safety of MSCs that a patient can tolerate without causing side effects. Moreover researchers will also be looking at the function of the knee over time, which may give them some insight on the usefulness of MSCs as a treatment option.
