Filter by:This is an international, multi-center, randomised, open label, superiority phase III trial of elacestrant vs standard endocrine therapy in patients with ER+/HER2- breast cancer and ctDNA relapse. During the ctDNA screening phase, patients will be tested at different timepoints to detect the presence of ctDNA in their blood. Patients who are found to be ctDNA-positive and have no evidence of distant metastasis, will be randomised 1:1 between standard endocrine treatment (the same they were receiving when tested ctDNA positive) versus elacestrant, provided they meet all eligibility criteria. After completion of the protocol treatment period, treatment will be left at the discretion of the treating physician.
This phase II trial investigates how well trastuzumab deruxtecan works alone or in combination with anastrozole in treating patients with HER2 low, hormone receptor positive breast cancer. Trastuzumab deruxtecan is a monoclonal antibody, called trastuzumab, linked to a chemotherapy drug called deruxtecan. Trastuzumab attaches to HER2 expressed at low levels on cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers deruxtecan to kill them. Anastrozole works by decreasing estrogen production and suppressing the growth of tumors that need estrogen to grow. This study is evaluating how effective trastuzumab deruxtecan is at treating hormone receptor positive cancer cells that have low levels of HER2 expressed on them when given alone or in combination with anastrozole.
This randomized phase III trial studies how well hypofractionated radiation therapy works in preventing recurrence in patients with stage IIa-IIIa cancer who have undergone mastectomy. Hypofractionated radiation therapy delivers higher doses of radiation therapy over a shorter period of time and may kill more tumor cells that remain after surgery and have fewer side effects.

This phase II trial studies how well biopsy of breast after chemotherapy works in predicting pathologic response in patients with stage II-IIIA breast cancer undergoing breast conserving surgery. Tumor tissue collected from biopsy before surgery may help to check if chemotherapy destroyed the breast cancer cells and may be compared to the tumor removed during surgery to check if they are the same.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of a vaccine therapy in preventing cancer from coming back in patients with non-metastatic, node positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor (HER)2 negative breast cancer in which all signs and symptoms have disappeared. Vaccines made from deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Giving multiple vaccinations may make a stronger immune response and prevent or delay the return of cancer.
This pilot clinical trial studies how well ultrasound works in detecting taxane-induced neuropathy in patients with breast cancer. Ultrasound may work better in diagnosing and detecting neuropathy in breast cancer patients treated with the chemotherapy drug called a taxane.
