A Study to Prevent and Improve Sexual Health Concerns for People With Breast Cancer

Randomized Pilot Prevention Trial to Improve Sexual and Vulvovaginal Health Concerns in Premenopausal Female Breast Cancer Patients Receiving Ovarian Suppression

Researchers are doing this study to look at whether sexual health counselling and using non-hormonal moisturizer at the start of ovarian suppression may be able to prevent or reduce side effects such as vaginal dryness and sexual dysfunction. Researchers will compare how effective this prevention intervention works compared to the usual approach, which is to treat these side effects after they start. All participants will also complete surveys about their sexual health. This information will help researchers learn more about the sexual health of women with breast cancer receiving ovarian suppression.

Individualized Piano Instruction (IPI) for Improving Cognition in Breast Cancer Survivors.

A Feasibility Study on Individualized Piano Instruction (IPI) for Improving Cognition in Breast Cancer Survivors.

The purpose of this study is to test the study method and procedure for individualized piano instruction (IPI) and its impact on chemotherapy related cognitive impairment (CRCI) symptoms. There have been studies that show the benefits of leaning to play the piano keyboard on cognitive skills in children and elderly populations. The information collected from the program will be used to examine the feasibility of implementing this program permanently

COGNITION: Genomics-Guided Precision Oncology in Early High-Risk Breast Cancer - COGNITION

COGNITION: Comprehensive Assessment of Clinical Features, Genomics and Further Molecular Markers to Identify Patients With Early Breast Cancer for Enrolment on Marker Driven Trials (Molecular Diagnostic Platform)

The COGNITION diagnostic platform elucidates the biomarker profile of neoadjuvant chemotherapy-resistant residual bulk tumors in high risk early breast cancer patients. The major goal is to provide a framework for genomic profiling, which serves as infrastructure for systematic biomarker-screening and -stratification for concise therapy-arm allocation in the interventional clinical phase II trial COGNITION-GUIDE (NCT05332561). In patients, who display a poor response to standard-of-care neoadjuvant chemotherapy, tissue samples before and after neoadjuvant therapy are subjected together with blood samples to comprehensive genomic profiling to identify patients potentially benefiting from biomarker-guided interventions in COGNITION-GUIDE. Samples not required for standard-of-care clinical procedures or genomic profiling are systematically collected in a dedicated bio-repository to fuel translational scientific companion programs. The continuously growing comprehensive database serves as an integrative resource for systematic, prospective multidimensional data collection (clinical records, biomaterial, genomic data). In summary, the overarching goal is to generate a precision oncology platform i) to identify clinically-actionable biomarkers and drug targets that drive genomics-guided therapies and ii) to couple the observational, diagnostic registry platform to the independent, biomarker-stratified clinical therapy trial COGNITION-GUIDE.

HER2(Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2) -Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer in Russia

A Multicenter Observational Retrospective Study of Therapeutic Approaches and Clinical Outcomes in Real Clinical Practice in Russian Patients With Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-Positive Metastatic Breast Cancer

Planned study population consists of approximately 1,000 adult patients with HER2-positive mBC receiving anti-HER2 therapy in about 50 oncological centers (in each center it is expected to recruit about 20 patients) in different regions in order to provide representative study sample. Patients will be included consecutively from the least recent diagnosis (within defined time period). Planned retrospective follow-up period for 1 patient is a period starting from the date of mBC diagnosis until end study or until patient's death, whichever occurs first. End of study will be at least 12 months after the latest date of mBC diagnosis to ensure all patients have the opportunity to contribute at least 12 months of data.

Disitamab Vedotin (RC48) in Hormone Receptor Positive, HER2-low Metastatic Breast Cancer (the Rosy Trial)

Disitamab Vedotin or Endocrine Therapy for Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer With Hormone Receptor-positive and HER2-low-expression

Hormone receptor positive, HER2-low expression metastatic breast cancer is the main type of breast cancer, accounting for about 50% - 60%. However, this type of patients lack ideal therapeutic drugs after the failure of first-line standard endocrine therapy, and the median overall survival time is only 30 months. Therefore, finding more efficient and safe therapeutic drugs for these patients has become a big clinical challenge at present. Disitamab Vedotin (DV), as a new class I Antibody-Drug Conjugates drug, can achieve high efficiency and precise tumor killing effect with low toxicity. According to previous study with same sample size, DV also showed good efficacy in metastatic breast cancer with Hormone receptor positive and HER2- low expression as a posterior line treatment. Therefore, we intend to explore the efficacy and safety of DV in the treatment of HER2-low expressioin /Hormone receptor positive metastatic breast cancer patients with endocrine resistance through a scientifically designed, randomized, phase III clinical study.

TCb vs EC-T in High Risk ER+/HER2- Breast Cancer

A Randomized, Open-label, Single-center, Phase III Trial Comparing Docetaxel Plus Carboplatin (TCb) Versus Epirubicin Plus Cyclophosphamide Followed by Docetaxel (EC-T) Regimen as Adjuvant Chemotherapy in Patients With LN≥4 Estrogen Receptor Positive and Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 Negative (ER+/HER2-) Breast Cancer

Prehabilitation and RecOVERy From Surgery for Breast Cancer Study - PROVERB

The Feasibility of a Multi-phasic Exercise-based Intervention Utilising the Health Action Process Approach, Dyadic Coping and Wearable Technology in Women Before and After Surgery for Breast Cancer

Background and study aims: Nine out of ten women experience some negative effects due to their disease or its treatment such as anxiety, depression, weight gain and low quality of life. Research shows that exercise may help women overcome some of these effects. The investigators also know that most women become physically inactive after cancer treatment. Therefore, The investigators feel it is important that women get into a routine of doing regular exercise before they start their cancer treatment, this is called prehabilitation. The investigators believe that prehabilitation might help to build confidence and help women to continue exercising after their cancer treatment. The investigators are doing this study to find out if a remote (NHS Attend Anywhere), multimodal (aerobic, resistance and targeted exercise), behavioural change (Health Action Process Approach (HAPA), dyadic coping (the collective effort to dealing with the stress of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment), and wearable technology), multiphasic (pre- and post-surgery) intervention is feasible in the short time frame between diagnosis of breast cancer and surgery (less than 31 days). The investigators would also like to find out whether it is feasible for women to begin an exercise rehabilitation programme two weeks after their operation. If successful, the results will potentially enable us in the future to tailor the support gievn to women to help them prepare and recover from breast cancer treatment.
