Assessing the Influence of Timing of Enteral Feeding Support in Esophageal Cancer Patients on Muscle functTion and Survival
The surgical stress of an esophagectomy causes a detrimental impact on the physiological response of the body. In this perspective, one could question whether the current feeding regimens of starting early nutritional support at postoperative day (POD) 1 have a similar negative impact on the muscle mass as documented in critically ill patients. This study will introduce relative starvation in the early days following esophagectomy compared to the current regimen of early enteral nutritional support. The research team aims to investigate whether the negative impact on muscle mass and muscle function might be reduced, which should result in enhanced postoperative recovery. The final result of the study will be a well-documented and scientifically substantiated nutritional regimen for patients who underwent an esophagectomy for cancer.

Effect of Whole-body Electromyostimulation Combined With Individualized Nutritional Support on Patients With Gynecological Cancer Undergoing Curative and Palliative Treatment
This study evaluates the effects of a 12-week whole-body electromyostimulation (WB-EMS) training combined with individualized nutritional support on body composition, muscle strength and function, quality of life, fatigue and Inflammatory status on patients with gynecological cancer undergoing palliative anti-cancer Treatment. Furthermore, this study assesses the effect of this combined therapeutic approach within a 3 to 4-week pre-operative study Intervention on the period of hospitalization in gynecological patients undergoing curative anti-cancer Treatment.

Dairy Products to Maintain Muscle Mass in People Undergoing Treatment for Lung Cancer
In a person with cancer, low muscle mass and strength increases the risks of suffering from severe complications of the disease, its treatment, and dying. To prevent muscle loss in cancer, stimulating muscle protein anabolism (growth) by fueling muscles with protein is crucial. Dairy products are not only a source of high-quality protein but are a preferred food choice for cancer patients as they progress through chemotherapy treatment. Although commercially available oral nutritional supplements containing essential amino acids are often promoted for protein anabolism, these products are not preferred by cancer patients. Moreover, our research group has shown that patients consuming oral nutritional supplements actually lose more weight than those who chose regular whole-food items. Evidence of the health effects of consuming dairy products is needed to influence dietary recommendations for people with cancer. The objective of our study is to perform a clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy of dairy products to maintain muscle mass and strength and improve patient outcomes in people undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

True NTH Community of Wellness Internet-Based Exercise and Diet Support for Prostate Cancer Survivors
This pilot clinical trial studies how well the True NTH Community of Wellness internet-based exercise and diet support works in improving diet and exercise habits in prostate cancer survivors. Internet-based exercise and diet support may help better control treatment-related side effects and symptoms, better overall quality of life, and lower risk factors associated with cancer progression.

A Pilot Study to Test the Feasibility of Comic Art Creation for Symptom Management in Cancer Supportive Care
This pilot clinical trial studies how well comic art creation works as supportive care in cancer patients and caregivers. Participating in a comic art creation workshop may help patients and their family members or friends share their medical experience through storytelling and drawings in a way that can, but does not have to, reflect the real world. It may also help improve emotional wellbeing and communication in cancer patients and caregivers.

SALTO-BIO (Long Term Follow up in Oncology) - PanCareLIFE. Long Term Support for Pediatric Cancer Survivors in Rhône-Alpes. Evaluation of Women Fertility.
PanCareLIFE Study is a cohort study of patients treated for cancer in childhood, and biological case-control study nested in the cohort (WP4) is coordinated by Erasmus MC-Sophia Children's Hospital in Holland. Ensure optimal patient quality of life throughout his life is a priority for the research teams. PanCareLIFE Study also aims to identify the factors that predispose to impaired quality of life. It is in this light that will be offered to patients a quality of life questionnaires during the period of treatment and then periodically during long-term follow-up.

Prospective Study of Preoperative Nutritional Support in Malnutritional Pancreatobiliary Cancer Patients
Malnutrition patients are known to have more postoperative complications and mortality. And most of hepatobiliary-pancreatic cancer surgeries accompany high postoperative morbidity and mortality rate. Therefore for the malnourished patients anticipating major surgery, preoperative nutritional support is recommended according to the ASPEN (American society of parenteral and enteral nutrition) and ESPEN (European society of parenteral and enteral nutrition) guideline. However there is no prospective trial to prove the clinical impact of preoperative nutritional support for malnourished patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical impact of preoperative nutritional support for malnourished cancer patients anticipating HBP surgery. Primary objective is to compare the complication rate and secondary object is to compare the quality of life, hospital stay and cost.
