Filter by:A multicenter prospective registry planned to recruit more than 100 000 patients 50 years old and older was carried out in China. This primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the association of synchronous four-limb blood pressure and pulse wave velocity with cardiovascular events. The secondary purpose was to evaluate the incidence rate, prevalence rate, value of diagnosis for peripheral arterial occlusive disease, and to follow up the effects of revascularization on cardiovascular events.
This study aims to create a database of patients with stable and chronic heart failure with comprehensive assessment of bone, skeletal and vascular status. RoC-HF will facilitate cross-sectional and, eventually, longitudinal mechanistic epidemiological analyses to disentangle the role of the bone- vascular axis in chronic heart failure. Blood and urine samples will be stored to facilitate future biomarker analyses.
The present study will investigate the effect of artificially stiffening the aorta by means of an aortic stent on central aortic haemodynamics (CAH). This study will determine whether aortic stenting inadvertently adversely impacts on CAH, thereby providing the rational for subsequent therapeutic intervention to reduce the associated cardiovascular risk.
The main goal of our study is to assess the accuracy and reproducibility of continuous beat-to-beat cardiac output (CO) measurement using pulse wave transit time in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting.
