Real-life Use of Niraparib in a Patient Access Program in Norway

Start date: July 31, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Retrospective observational study of patients treated with niraparib in an individual patient access program in Norway.

NCT ID: NCT04676334 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

CATCH-R: A Rollover Study to Provide Continued Access to Rucaparib

CATCH-R
Start date: March 22, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This protocol is designed to provide participants currently benefiting from rucaparib treatment in a Clovis-sponsored clinical study with continued access to treatment for as long as they continue to benefit. Participants in long-term follow-up (LTFU) in a parent study may also enroll in this study for continued data collection, as applicable based on parent study objectives.

NCT ID: NCT04537702 Completed - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

Prospective Randomized Trial of Streamlined Genetic Education and Testing for Ovarian Cancer Patients

Start date: August 8, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Current guidelines recommend universal genetic testing for all patients with ovarian, fallopian and peritoneal cancer. The purpose of this trial is to investigate the non-inferiority of streamlined genetics education and testing for this patient population when compared to the traditional model of referral to genetic counseling. Patients will be randomized to either the streamlined or the traditional counseling arm. Those in the streamlined group will watch a brief educational video and have the option of immediate testing; The traditional counseling arm will instead be referred for a formal genetics consultation, after which they can choose to be tested. The primary outcome will be a patient reported outcome scale that assesses patient satisfaction with genetic counseling; patient anxiety and distress and cost effectiveness when using both strategies will also be evaluated. The study poses minimal risk to the patients that would not be encountered during standard of care genetic counseling.

NCT ID: NCT04296890 Completed - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

A Study of Mirvetuximab Soravtansine in Platinum-Resistant, Advanced High-Grade Epithelial Ovarian, Primary Peritoneal, or Fallopian Tube Cancers With High Folate Receptor-Alpha Expression

SORAYA
Start date: July 23, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of mirvetuximab soravtansine (MIRV) in patients with platinum-resistant high-grade serous epithelial ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer, whose tumors express a high-level of Folate Receptor-Alpha (FRĪ±). Patients will be, in the opinion of the Investigator, appropriate for single-agent therapy for their next line of therapy. All patients will receive single-agent MIRV at 6 mg/kg adjusted ideal body weight administered on Day 1 of every 3-week cycle.

NCT ID: NCT04088786 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Phase I Trial HIPEC With Nal-irinotecan

Start date: October 22, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness and safety of intraperitoneal administration of heated nanoliposomal Irinotecan in cytoreductive surgery (CRS), which is surgery designed to remove as much of the cancer as possible, and heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) procedures.

NCT ID: NCT04027868 Completed - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

Genomic BRCA and Extensive ovArian Cancer Testing

GREAT
Start date: December 6, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This is a prospective observational French multicenter cohort in patients with ovarian and/or primitive peritoneal and/or fallopian tubes carcinoma, histologically confirmed, with an advanced stage at diagnosis (stage III to IV FIGO 2014). The objective is to constitute a clinico-biological database that allows to correlate clinical and progressive features of ovarian cancer patients based on tumor genomics and molecular detected abnormalities.

NCT ID: NCT03657043 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of Weekly Tisotumab Vedotin for Patients With Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer With Safety Run-in (innovaTV 208)

Start date: March 20, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This trial will study tisotumab vedotin to find out what its side effects are and to see if it works for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC). It will test different doses of tisotumab vedotin that are given at different times. It will also compare the side effects and ability to treat tumors of these different doses and schedules. In this study, there will be a safety run-in group of approximately 12 patients that will look at a dose-dense treatment schedule. In a dose-dense schedule, smaller doses are given more frequently. In addition to the safety run-in patients, there will be three groups in the study. One group will get tisotumab vedotin once every 3 weeks (21-day cycles). The two other groups will get tisotumab vedotin once a week for 3 weeks followed by 1 week off (28-day cycles).

NCT ID: NCT03359811 Completed - Peritoneal Cancer Clinical Trials

Four Quadrants Transverse Abdominus Plane (4Q-TAP) Block With Plain and Liposomal Bupivacaine vs. Thoracic Epidermal Analgesia (TEA) in Patients Undergoing Cytoreductive Surgery With Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC) on an Enhanced Recovery Pathway

Start date: November 27, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical research study is to compare the effects of 4 quadrant TAP block (4Q-TAP block) with the standard-of-care thoracic epidural analgesia (TEA) in patients recovering from cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC). A 4Q-TAP block is also known as an abdominal wall block and TEA is also known as a thoracic epidural. Both are types of anesthetics but are given in different ways. A 4Q-TAP block is when anesthetic injections are given in 4 different parts of the abdomen. A TEA is when an anesthetic injection is given in the space surrounding the spinal cord through your back. This is an investigational study. The surgery and the levels of anesthetic participant is receiving are standard-of-care. It is investigational to compare 4Q-TAP block with TEA. Up to 140 participants will be enrolled in this study. All will take part at MD Anderson.

NCT ID: NCT03332576 Completed - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

Phase 1b Study of a Cancer Vaccine to Treat Patients With Advanced Stage Ovarian, Fallopian or Peritoneal Cancer

Start date: August 23, 2013
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

As a follow-on study to NCT01416038, this study is designed to identify the optimal dosage of immunotherapeutic survivin vaccine DPX-Survivac and low dose oral cyclophosphamide. The combination treatment is being evaluated in a non-randomized, multi-cohort study as post-chemotherapy treatment for patients with late-stage ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03211806 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Detecting Activity to Support Healing

DASH
Start date: June 6, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this research is to develop and test a technology-supported intervention to reduce sedentary behavior before and after cancer surgery. Surgical oncology patients are at elevated risk for postoperative complications and readmissions. Sedentary behavior increases markedly after surgery and hospitalization, and reducing sedentary behavior around the time of cancer surgery could reduce risk while also empowering cancer patients to take a more active role in their recovery.
