Filter by:Women's psycho-social health during pregnancy could influence the course of pregnancy, psychological and emotional life, not only in labor but also during the postpartum period. Women's perception of birth and their self-efficacy may affect the birth and postpartum period, and their delivery preference. The study aims to examine the effect of solution-oriented approach training on traumatic birth perception, vaginal birth selfefficacy, and delivery preference. It was designed in a randomized controlled experimental type. The sample in the study will comprise 80 pregnant women (40 experimental and 40 control groups) with the help of power analysis. The study is going to be conducted with pregnant women applying to KTU Farabi Hospital between May and December 2022. 6-8 sessions of solution-oriented approach training will be given to pregnant women with 28 weeks of gestation and above and willing to take part in the study, and their delivery preferences will be examined, afterward. The pregnant women in the control group, on the other hand, will not be subjected to any training or interview other than routine pregnancy follow-ups. Data will be gathered through the Pregnant introductory information form, traumatic birth perception scale form, and vaginal birth self-efficacy form. Ethics Committee Permission, institutional permission from the institution where the research will be conducted, and written informed consent from the mothers will be obtained before the research. The data will be statistically evaluated through the SPSS 23 program. Student t-test or Mann-Whitney U tests will be applied for two independent groups. One A Way or Kruskal-Wallis tests will be applied for three or more independent groups, depending on whether the data meet the parametric conditions. Paired T or Wilcoxon tests will be used for two dependent groups, and Friedman or Repeat Measure tests will be applied for three or more groups. In statistical evaluation, p<0.05 will be considered significant.
This study aims to investigate the patients' perception of the negative impact of the healthcare industry on climate change, their attitude of climate change and their health, and their view of seeing a change in the healthcare system to reduce climate change.
Body awareness (BA) is an essential factor for health and well-being. In 2021, the IOBA (Impact on Body Awareness) study was conducted at the Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Kepler University Hospital. Thereby, the impact of massage and of gymnastics on BA in healthy individuals was surveyed. The protocol provides a solid basis for further research projects on BA. In the present study, the direct effect of a WATSU® (Shiatsu in Water) application on BA as well as on the state of health of healthy persons will be determined and BA will be further investigated. In a randomized controlled study with 60 healthy adults in two groups (WATSU and control group), the use of the Awareness Body Chart (ABC) questionnaire and further German questionnaires (Short questionnaire on self-perception of the body, self-rating mood scale - revised) concerning body awareness and well-being should analyse the following hypothesis: There is a difference in the change of BA between the WATSU group and the control group. Before interventions demographic data and further questionnaires concerning health conditions of the participants (Simple Physical Activity Questionnaire, Short Form Health Survey, Brief Symptom Inventory, Like/Dislike Body Chart and additional questions) are administered. Correlations between BA and the results of these tests will be investigated too. All these analyses can provide innovative information about BA and be indicative in the use of physiotherapeutic measures.
COVID-19 Infection was characterized as a Pandemic by WHO on the 11th of March 2020.1 After this there were all possible worldwide efforts to increase awareness in the general population about the COVID-19 Infection signs, symptoms, mode of transmission and prevention. The information was spread across all possible mass media communication channels. There were constant updates regarding the data of newly infected cases, deaths, and recoveries. This cross sectional study is conducted with the following objectives: 1. To understand the netizens perception regarding the sources of information available on COVID-19. 2. To understand the netizens populations perception regarding the available information on COVID-19.

It also improves professional connectivity and better public display of professional skills. These can enhance the professional growth through public availability and accessibility. Social Media giants in the recent times were also blamed for data privacy and protection. There are issues of excessive indulgence into privacy through access of users' locations and contacts. Overt advertisements and unnecessary tagging to the content by unknown users cannot be ignored. Our cross sectional study is aimed to understand Dentist' perspective at professional level, regarding their use, advantages and disadvantages of Social Media.
The rapid spread of COVID-19 is expected to have a significant impact on medicine as well as all sectors worldwide. In particular, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic immune disease in which remission and activation are repeated and must be treated consistently throughout life. In addition, patients with IBD may be vulnerable to various infectious diseases due to the immuno-compromised state due to the use of immuno-suppressants or biological agents. During a pandemic, patients with IBD may postpone hospital visits due to concerns about infection with COVID-19, and if they cannot continue drug treatment, there is a concern about the flare up IBD disease activity. Therefore, in this study, we would like to investigate the current status of hospital utilization of IBD patients in Daegu, the epidemic area of COVID-19, and to investigate the effect of patient perception of COVID-19 on hospital ultilization.
