NCT ID: NCT02002988 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Botulinum Toxin Injection Prevent Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: June 2013
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this prospective non-randomized study was to assess the efficacy and safety of endomyocardial botulinum toxin injection in projections of main ganglionated plexuses of left atrium for preventing drug-resistant paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.

NCT ID: NCT02002923 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Pulmonary Vein Isolation Versus Botulinum Toxin Injection Plus Pulmonary Vein Isolation in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: June 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The investigators have conducted a prospective, double-blind, randomized study to assess the comparative safety and efficacy of two different treatment strategies, PVI only versus PVI plus BT injection, in patients with persistent and paroxysmal AF. Results were assessed after follow-up of at least 1 years with the use of an implanted monitoring device (IMD).

NCT ID: NCT01775891 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Efficacy of Pilsicainide After Radiofrequency Ablation of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: July 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Investigators hypothesized that the use of Pilsicainide after radiofrequency ablation of AF could reduce the incidence of recurrence of atrial arrhythmia during follow up compared with other class IC antiarrhythmic drugs.

NCT ID: NCT01672346 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

PV Reconnection After PVAI at Different Power Settings and Adenosine Provocation

ZODIAC
Start date: May 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

In this prospective randomized study, we aim to compare the rate of PV reconnection following PVAI performed at different energy settings (30 Watts vs 40 Watts) where dormant PV conduction will be unmasked by adenosine-provocation.

NCT ID: NCT01229306 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Repeat Ablation Procedure in Patients With Relapse of Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: July 2010
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Catheter ablation with isolation of the pulmonary veins has proven to be an effective treatment option in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. In patients who have a relapse of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after one ablation procedure the investigators compare the reisolation of all pulmonary veins to reisolation plus an anterior left atrial line.

NCT ID: NCT00201552 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Statin and PAF in Patients With Pacemaker

Start date: n/a
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Statin could decrease AF burden
