NCT ID: NCT05642962 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Pancrelipase in People With Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC)

Start date: November 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to see how pancrelipase affects the body mass index (BMI) in people with metastatic PDAC. BMI is a measure based on a person's height and weight. Other study goals are to explore two different dosing schedules of pancrelipase and to evaluate pancrelipase in people who do not have symptoms of EPI.

NCT ID: NCT04659603 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Breast Cancer Metastatic

Tusamitamab Ravtansine Monotherapy and in Combination in Patients With CEACAM5-positive Advanced Solid Tumors

CARMEN-BT01
Start date: March 29, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Primary Objective: - For Cohort A, Cohort B, and Cohort C Part 2: To assess the antitumor activity of tusamitamab ravtansine in metastatic breast cancer (mBC) and tusamitamab ravtansine monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine in metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma (mPAC) - For Cohort C Part 1: Confirmation of the recommended tusamitamab ravtansine dose when administered in combination with gemcitabine Secondary Objectives: - To assess the safety and tolerability of tusamitamab ravtansine administered as monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine - To assess other efficacy parameters of tusamitamab ravtansine administered as monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine - To assess the immunogenicity of tusamitamab ravtansine - To assess the pharmacokinetics (PK) of tusamitamab ravtansine and gemcitabine when given in combination

NCT ID: NCT03152487 Completed - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Trial Comparing EUS-guided Radiofrequency Ablation vs. EUS-guided Celiac Plexus Neurolysis

Start date: April 24, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pancreatic cancer is the second most common gastrointestinal malignancy. Abdominal discomfort is a main symptom in patients with pancreatic cancer. Approximately 75% have pain at diagnosis and over 90% in advanced stages. Pain control is an important part of the plan of care for patients with pancreatic cancer.. The celiac plexus is a group of nerves that supply organs in the abdomen. EUS-guided celiac plexus neurolysis (EUS-CPN) has been widely used for pain management in patients with pancreatic cancer. Radiofrequency ablation of celiac ganglia or celiac plexus (EUS-RFA) is also being performed to alleviate abdominal pain in pancreatic cancer patients. However currently no comparative studies exist comparing EUS-CPN with EUS-RFA. The purpose of the study is to compare EUS-CPN with EUS-RFA for pain management in pancreatic patients, in order to determine which technique is better at improving pain in pancreatic cancer patients.

NCT ID: NCT02391662 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Carcinoma Metastatic

Nab-paclitaxel and Gemcitabine, in Elderly Patients Untreated Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Start date: June 23, 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Cancer incidence is increasing with age and the likelihood of elderly suffering from cancer is 1:3. Although many clinical trials include elderly patients, no results for this subgroup of patients are available. Since there is no specific recommendations for treatment of elderly patients with pancreatic cancer, treatment with gemcitabine alone is the treatment of choice for these patients. Single-agent gemcitabine is the current standard of care, but the addition of cytotoxic and targeted agents to gemcitabine has almost invariably provided no significant survival improvement. Results obtained recently in the MPACT phase III clinical trial in patients with pancreatic cancer treated with nab-paclitaxel combined with gemcitabine have shown improvement in overall survival, but due to in this clinical trial was included patients between 27 and 88 years, it is considered necessary to conduct a specific study for patients over 70 years. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the clinical benefit of nab-paclitaxel associated with gemcitabine can be extended to elderly patients with pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT01547260 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Lenalidomide and Gemcitabine as First-line Treatment in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer

LENAGEM
Start date: October 2009
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to ascertain whether treatment with lenalidomide or lenalidomide in combination with gemcitabine induces modulation of immune effector functions and to characterize the nature of immune functions.
