NCT ID: NCT01807468 Active, not recruiting - Neuroblastoma Clinical Trials

Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplantation and NK Cell Therapy in Patients With High-risk Solid Tumors

Start date: May 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate feasibility and efficacy of haploidentical stem cell transplantation in patients with high-risk solid tumors who failed after tandem high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation. To evaluate feasibility and efficacy of NK cell infusion after haploidentical stem cell transplantation in patients with high-risk solid tumors who failed after tandem high-dose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation.

NCT ID: NCT01758666 Active, not recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

A Clinical Research on the Relation of Blood Drug Concentration and Calcium Folinate Rescued in High-dose MTX Therapy

Start date: September 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

At present, the most effective drugs to osteosarcoma include ADM,DDP,,HD-MTX,IFO and so on.The effective rate of single drug was about 30%, and if the chemotherapy contains HD-MTX, the survival rate can reach about 60%, so the HD-MTX is the most important component in patients of osteosarcoma. Studies have shown that, MTX efficacy and adverse reactions were associated with blood concentration level and duration, selecting the right time and dose to give CF is the critical point.

NCT ID: NCT01590069 Active, not recruiting - Sarcoma Clinical Trials

Aerosolized Aldesleukin in Treating Patients With Lung Metastases

Start date: June 28, 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of aerosolized aldesleukin and to see how well it works in treating patients with cancer that has spread from the original tumor to the lungs. Biological therapies, such as aerosolized aldesleukin, may stimulate or suppress the immune system in different ways and stop tumor cells from growing.

NCT ID: NCT01242072 Active, not recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Intravenous Palifosfamide-tris in Combination With Etoposide and Carboplatin in Patients With Malignancies

Start date: November 2010
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This an an open-label study to define the safety profile and the maximum tolerated dose and confirm the clinical effective dose of palifosfamide-tris given intravenously in combination with etoposide and carboplatin in a wide range of cancers which etoposide and carboplatin are normally given. Once the maximum dose of palifosfamide-tris is determined,a Phase II study using the 3 agents combined will begin.

NCT ID: NCT01002092 Active, not recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

A Study of Endostar Combined With Chemotherapy for Treatment of Osteosarcoma

Start date: February 2009
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Purpose: This study will assess the safety and efficacy of Endostar combined with chemotherapy in osteosarcoma patients.

NCT ID: NCT00580385 Active, not recruiting - Osteosarcoma Clinical Trials

Chemotherapy Resistance in Osteogenic Sarcoma and Other Solid Tumors

Start date: August 1997
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate tumors in the laboratory to determine how and why they respond, or fail to respond to different drug therapies. This study will also investigate why high pressure develops within tumors and how this affects how well drugs work. We will also take blood samples before and/or after your procedure to measure biochemical factors that may help us predict the behavior of osteogenic sarcoma and other solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT00470223 Active, not recruiting - Sarcoma Clinical Trials

Combined Chemotherapy With or Without Zoledronic Acid for Patients With Osteosarcoma

OS2006
Start date: March 2007
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Drugs used in chemotherapy work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving more than one drug (combination chemotherapy) may kill more tumor cells. Zoledronic acid may stop the growth of tumor cells in bone. Giving chemotherapy with or without zoledronic acid before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal tissue that needs to be removed. Giving these treatments after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery. It is not yet known whether giving combination chemotherapy together with zoledronic acid is more effective than combination chemotherapy alone in treating osteosarcoma. PURPOSE: This randomized phase III trial is studying combination chemotherapy and zoledronic acid to see how well they work compared with combination chemotherapy alone in treating patients with osteosarcoma.

NCT ID: NCT00112463 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor

Depsipeptide (Romidepsin) in Treating Patients With Metastatic or Unresectable Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Start date: January 2004
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well depsipeptide (romidepsin) works in treating patients with metastatic or unresectable soft tissue sarcoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as depsipeptide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing.
