Prophecy Guide Outcomes in Total Knee Replacement Surgery

This project aims to assess two different techniques used to position the knee replacement implant during surgery. The patients will be randomised to receive either the following: 1. The established Navigation System (gold standard) 2. The new Prophecy Technique (validated by the Navigation System) The study hypothesis is there will be no difference between the gold standard Navigation system and the Prophecy technique in relation to the placement of the knee implant.

Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis With Intra-Articular Infliximab

Apitox, Honeybee Toxin for Pain and Inflammation of Osteoarthritis

The study will identify the efficacy of Apitox, purified honeybee toxin, in 330 patients with diagnosed osteoarthritis of the knee. The subjects will be evaluated for relief of pain using Western Ontario and McMaster Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) and Physician and Patient Global Assessments and primary efficacy measure of relief of pain and inflammation over a 12 week treatment period after randomization into the trial.
