Filter by:The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate the effects of personalized innovative fritters on the nutritional health of overweight and obese individuals aged 40 to 70 years. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How does consuming personalized innovative fritters affect the nutritional health of overweight and obese individuals? - What is the mechanism underlying the impact of personalized innovative oil bars on nutritional health? Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: a trial group consuming personalized innovative fritters and a control group consuming traditional fritters with equal energy content. Over the course of 6 months, participants will undergo two phases of intervention separated by a two-month washout period. During the intervention, participants will be assessed comprehensively for sensory ratings and nutritional health status through biological indicators, physical examinations, and other relevant measures. Researchers will compare the trial group to the control group to determine if personalized innovative fritters lead to improvements in nutritional health compared to traditional fritters.

Purpose: Undernutrition is common in neurologically impaired children. It increases the burden of comorbidities and affects the quality of life of these children. It must be recognized and treated as early as possible. This study aimed primarily to compare the efficacy of high-caloric whey-based partially hydrolyzed formula (HC-WPHF) versus standard feeding on the nutritional status reflected by growth parameters and feeding tolerance in undernourished children with neurological impairment (NI). The secondary aim was to compare the change in these parameters after using HC-WPHF for 3 and 6 months.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of nutrition education on nutritional literacy, nutritional status, eating habits and eating behavior in high school students. The research will be conducted in six high schools, three of which are intervention schools and three of which are control schools It is planned that a total of 1000 students will be included in the study from the intervention school and 1000 students from the control school. At the beginning of the study (June 2022), an introductory form (sociodemographic characteristics, body image (Stunkart scale), dietary habits, knowledge about weight status) was applied to all students. Adolescent Nutrition Literacy Scale (ANLS), Instrument of Nutrition Literacy, Mediterranean Diet Quality Index (KID-MED), Eating Attitudes Test 26 (EAT-26), International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form (IPAQ) were applied, anthropometric measurements and three-day food consumption records were taken. During the study, nutrition initiatives consisting of 8 modules will be made to the intervention schools. Control schools will not be interfered with during this period.At the end of the study, the procedures applied at the beginning will be repeated.
The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate the effects of nutrition therapy guided by indirect calorimetry and nitrogen balance among critically ill patients with acute kidney injury. The main question it aims to answer whether nutrition therapy guided by indirect calorimetry and nitrogen balance could improve 28 days mortality among critically ill patients with acute kidney injury or not. type of study: clinical trial Participants will be provided enteral or parenteral nutrition after randomization(48-72 days after admissions) with total energy guided by indirect calorimetry measurements and total protein by nitrogen balance with maximum of 1.3 gram per kilogram per day for total of 14 days If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare with the control groups (nutrition therapy provided by physician using clinical equation of choice or judgements to see if participants were provided with these interventions, their 28 days mortalities would be better
