Muscle Dysfunction in Patients With Hematological Diseases Referred to Stem Cell Transplant

PURPOSE: To investigate the effect of the disease and HSCT on muscle dysfunction and to investigate the prognostic role of muscle dysfunction at critical decision points in patients with hematological diseases referred to hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). HSCT: Patients diagnosed with malignant hematological diseases who are referred to myeloablative HSCT, to a myeloablative "reduced toxicity conditioning" regime with Fludarabine and Treosulfane (FluTreo) or to non-myeloablative HSCT.

Non-invasive Evaluation of Lymphoma Patients Based on Artificial Intelligence and PET/MRI

18F-FDG PET/MR imaging protocol integrating advanced MR vascular imaging sequences, along with computerized quantitative methods for data analysis, is expected to serve as an objective tool for assessment of lymphoma patients. The aim of this prospective study is to develop an automatic artificial intelligence-based tool for the assessment of early response to treatment and evaluation of residual masses in patients with lymphoma. Specific objectives are: 1. To evaluate the added value of 18F-FDG PET/MRI compared with PET/CT in imaging lymphoma. 2. To optimize PET/MR imaging protocol for lymphoma assessment. 3. To develop an automated tool for staging patients with lymphoma. 4. To develop an automated method for early prediction of response to therapy and prognosis in patients with lymphoma. 5. To develop an automated non-invasive tool for discriminating benign from active residual masses at end of treatment in patients with lymphoma.

A Phase 2 Trial of Anakinra for the Prevention of CAR-T Cell Mediated Neurotoxicity

This research study is studying the combination of anakinra and axicabtagene ciloleucel to reduce the occurrence of the side effects Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) and neurologic toxicities with relapsed or refractory Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). - Relapsed NHL is the condition of returned Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. - Refractory NHL is the condition of previous treatment resistant Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. - Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) is a group of side effect symptoms that can include nausea, headache, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, kidney damage, and rash. - Neurologic toxicity is nervous system disorder characterized by confusion This research study involves two drugs: - Anakinra - Axicabtagene Ciloleucel.

NKTR-255 in Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma & Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Patients will receive intravenous (IV) NKTR-255 in 21 or 28 day treatment cycles. During the Part 1 dose escalation portion of the trial, patients will either receive NKTR-255 as monotherapy, NKTR-255 administered as a doublet with daratumumab subcutaneous (DARZALEX FASPRO TM), or NKTR-255 administered as a doublet with rituximab. After determination of the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of NKTR-255, NKTR-255 will be evaluated in Part 2. During the Part 2 dose expansion portion of the trial, patients will either receive NKTR-255 as monotherapy, NKTR-255 administered as a doublet with daratumumab subcutaneous (DARZALEX FASPRO TM), or NKTR-255 administered as a doublet with rituximab. This is a Phase 1 study to evaluate safety and tolerability of NKTR-255 alone and in combination with daratumumab or rituximab.

Cord Blood Transplant With Dilanubicel for the Treatment of HIV Positive Hematologic Cancers

This phase II trial studies the side effects of a cord blood transplant using dilanubicel and to see how well it works in treating patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) positive hematologic (blood) cancers. After a cord blood transplant, the immune cells, including white blood cells, can take a while to recover, putting the patient at increased risk of infection. Dilanubicel consists of blood stem cells that help to produce mature blood cells, including immune cells. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and thiotepa, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Total body irradiation is a type of whole-body radiation. Giving chemotherapy and total-body irradiation before a cord blood transplant with dilanubicel may help to kill any cancer cells that are in the body and make room in the patient's bone marrow for new stem cells to grow and reduce the risk of infection.

A Study of Imvotamab Monotherapy and in Combination in Subjects With Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

This is a Phase 1/2 study of imvotamab in adult subjects with relapsed or refractory B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. This study will consist of a dose-escalation stage, a combination stage, and a randomized dose-expansion stage where subjects will be enrolled into indication-specific expansion cohorts. imvotamab will be administered intravenously (IV). Additional CD20-positive NHL histologies (e.g. MZL and MCL), may be allowed with Medical Monitor approval during the Dose-Escalation Phase of the study.

Cardiac Rehabilitation for Patients Receiving Radiation Therapy for Thoracic Cancers

Other than optimizing medical management of cardiac risk factors, and reducing radiotherapy (RT) dose to the heart, there currently exist no interventions to mitigate or reverse the adverse cardiac effects of RT. Aerobic exercise has been demonstrated to improve patient quality of life, cardiac outcomes, and cardiorespiratory fitness in patients with cancer receiving cardiotoxic systemic therapies, but the effects of aerobic exercise on patients at high risk for radiation induced heart disease (RIHD) is unknown. In addition, home-based cardiac rehabilitation has not been tested in patients with thoracic cancers.
