NCT ID: NCT06021262 Recruiting - Neurotoxicity Clinical Trials

Assessment of Nerve Damage Biomarkers in Acute and Chronic Organophosphate Toxicity

Start date: August 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this observational study is to answer the following questions in individuals with acute and chronic exposure to organophosphates. The main questions to be addressed are 1. What are the prognostic values of neuroinflammatory markers? 2. What are the genotoxic effects of organophosphates? 3. what are the changes occurring in the levels of traditional oxidative stress and inflammatory markers?

NCT ID: NCT05950386 Recruiting - Neurotoxicity Clinical Trials

Effects of Lead Exposure on Ferroptosis Pathway

Start date: July 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of chronic lead exposure on iron metabolism and the Nrf2-dependent ferroptosis pathway in lead acid battery factory workers

NCT ID: NCT05089604 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Liver Transplantation

Tacrolimus Associated Tremors in Liver Transplantation: Immediate-Release Versus Extended-Release Formulations

LCP-TAC
Start date: January 9, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized open label study in de novo liver transplant recipients that aims to compare the risk of tacrolimus induced tremors with once daily extended-release formulation, Envarsus, versus the twice daily immediate-release formulation. Both formulations of tacrolimus are currently approved for the prevention of rejection in liver transplant patients.

NCT ID: NCT03330964 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Gastrointestinal Neoplasms

Clinical Trial of Electroacupuncture Stimulation on Prevention and Treatment of Oxaliplatin Neurotoxicity

Start date: September 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The clinical trail of electroacupuncture combined with oxaliplatin regimen on gastrointestinal carcinoma. This trail is randomized controled.Patients are diagnosed gastrointestinal cancer based on pathology or cell biology. They are randomized into 2 groups:both groups receive Oxaliplatin regimen. The treatment group receives electroacupuncture in addition to the chemotherapy. The control group only receive the same chemotherapy with the treatment group. Both group have the same adjuvant therapy.

NCT ID: NCT02500810 Recruiting - Neurotoxicity Clinical Trials

Monosialoganglioside Preventing Neurotoxicity Induced by Albumin-bound Paclitaxel Chemotherapy in Lung Cancer Patients

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether monosialoganglioside are effective in the prevention of neurotoxicity induced by albumin-bound paclitaxel chemotherapy in lung cancer patients, and improve the quality of life of patients.

NCT ID: NCT00884767 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Biomarkers in Predicting Neurotoxicity in Patients With Colorectal Cancer Receiving Oxaliplatin

Start date: September 2007
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RATIONALE: Studying samples of blood in the laboratory from patients receiving oxaliplatin for cancer may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to neurotoxicity. PURPOSE: This phase II trial is studying biomarkers in predicting neurotoxicity in patients with colorectal cancer receiving oxaliplatin.

NCT ID: NCT00436774 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Treatment Outcome and Quality of Life in Patients With Pediatric Extra-Cranial Germ Cell Tumors Previously Treated on Clinical Trial CCLG-GC-1979-01 or CCLG-GC-1989-01

Start date: June 2006
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

RATIONALE: Treatment for pediatric extracranial germ cell tumors may cause side effects and secondary cancers later in life. A study that evaluates patients after receiving combination chemotherapy or surgery may help doctors understand the side effects and secondary cancers that occur later in life. PURPOSE: This study is looking at treatment outcome and quality of life in patients with pediatric extracranial germ cell tumors previously treated on clinical trial CCLG-GC-1979-01 or CCLG-GC-1989-01.
