NCT ID: NCT05386108 Recruiting - Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Study of Abemaciclib and Elacestrant in Patients With Brain Metastasis Due to HR+/HER2- Breast Cancer

ELECTRA
Start date: August 31, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-site, global, open-label study that includes a phase 1b evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in women and men with with or without brain metastases from ER-positive, HER-2 negative breast cancer. Phase 1b is designed to select the recommended phase 2 dose and will be followed by a phase 2 evaluation of elacestrant in combination with abemaciclib in patients with active brain metastases from ER-positive, HER-2 negative breast cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05278208 Recruiting - Medulloblastoma Clinical Trials

Lutathera for Treatment of Recurrent or Progressive High-Grade CNS Tumors

Start date: November 21, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of Lutathera (177Lu-DOTATATE) in patients with progressive or recurrent High-Grade Central Nervous System (CNS) tumors and meningiomas that demonstrate uptake on DOTATATE PET. The drug will be given intravenously once every 8 weeks for a total of up to 4 doses over 8 months in patients aged 4-12 years (Phase I) or older than 12 yrs (Phase II) to test its safety and efficacy, respectively. Funding Source - FDA OOPD (grant number FD-R-0532-01)

NCT ID: NCT05235074 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Central Nervous System Tumors

OH2 Oncolytic Viral Therapy in Central Nervous System Tumors

Start date: November 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In the first phase, it mainly explores the safety, tolerability and preliminary effectiveness of two doses of OH2 injection in the treatment of patients with recurrent central nervous system tumors; to evaluate the biodistribution and virus shedding of OH2 injection administered in the tumor cavity; to evaluate the level of anti-HSV2 antibody in patients when OH2 injection is administered intracavitary to tumor; to determine the phase II recommended dose (RP2D) of OH2 injection in the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma. Phase IIa, to evaluate the preliminary efficacy of OH2 injection in the treatment of patients with recurrent glioblastoma after surgery, and to further evaluate the safety of OH2 in the treatment of relapsed glioblastoma.

NCT ID: NCT05219149 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Central Nervous System Cancer

CNS Qualitative Interview

Start date: January 3, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Explore factors involved in decision making for patients with new or recurrent CNS tumors and their families surrounding treatment planning and clinical trial enrollment.

NCT ID: NCT05081180 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Central Nervous System Tumors

Study of Avelumab in Combination With Lenvatinib for Children With Primary CNS Tumors

Start date: December 3, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study consists of 2 parts: Dose Escalation Part 1 and Dose Expansion Part 2. The Dose Escalation Part 1 will evaluate the safety and tolerability of Avelumab in combination with Lenvatinib and determine the recommended Avelumab and Lenvatinib dose for expansion. Dose Expansion Part 2 will assess the efficacy of Avelumab in combination with Lenvatinib by Progression-free Survival in participants with pre-defined primary central nervous system (CNS) tumors.

NCT ID: NCT04992013 Recruiting - Metastatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Niraparib in Tumors Metastatic to the CNS

Start date: April 5, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research is being done to see how effective the drug niraparib is against cancer that has metastasized to the central nervous system (CNS). - This research study involves the study drug niraparib.

NCT ID: NCT04988009 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Malignant Neoplasm in the Brain

Patient Perceptions Around Quality of Care Through Telemedicine in Neuro-Oncology

Start date: August 20, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study evaluates patient perceptions around quality of care through telemedicine in neuro-oncology. Studying questionnaires related to perceptions quality of care through telemedicine in patients with brain cancer may help doctors to improve the delivery of care through this modality.

NCT ID: NCT04939597 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Central Nervous System Carcinoma

A Study to See if Memantine Protects the Brain During Radiation Therapy Treatment for Primary Central Nervous System Tumors

Start date: May 10, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This phase III trial compares memantine to usual treatment in treating patients with primary central nervous system tumors. Memantine may block receptors (parts of nerve cells) in the brain known to contribute to a decline in cognitive function. Giving memantine may make a difference in cognitive function (attention, memory, or other thought processes) in children and adolescents receiving brain radiation therapy to treat a primary central nervous system tumors.

NCT ID: NCT04870944 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Refractory Malignant Solid Neoplasm

CBL0137 for the Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory Solid Tumors, Including CNS Tumors and Lymphoma

Start date: January 28, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase I/II trial evaluates the best dose, side effects and possible benefit of CBL0137 in treating patients with solid tumors, including central nervous system (CNS) tumors or lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Drugs, such as CBL0137, block signals passed from one molecule to another inside a cell. Blocking these signals can affect many functions of the cell, including cell division and cell death, and may kill cancer cells.

NCT ID: NCT04859543 Recruiting - Pediatric Cancer Clinical Trials

Pediatric Prospective Personalized Immune and Target Identification Trial

PPROSPERITIT
Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

PPROSPERITIT is a prospective clinical study assessing the use of comprehensive molecular profiling to define the best matching targeted and immune treatment for relapsed, refractory or very high risk pediatric CNS tumors.
